Take your damaged glass here!! I’ve never talked to such polite staff, who walked me through the entire process of replacing my windshield. The new glass is beautiful, and they even put new sticky tape on my phone mount because it was previously mounted on my windshield. Seriously 10/10 service, if I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I’ve been using Calalta for a few decades for rock chips and most recently a replaced windshield.
Windshield replacement was good however I noticed a large fresh scratch on my passenger door when I picked up the vehicle. There was also a side trim loose that I came back for them to fix.
I was also told when paying that there was a possibility of my sensors not working and to call them if this happened. Well, it did. After calling, I was told to come in and it could just be a button to reset or else I would have to make another appointment to have it recalibrated which starts at $150.00….a total surprise to me as I haven’t replaced a windshield in over 12 years. He said they do not automatically do it so as to save the customer money up front. After a call to Toyota I discovered all vehicles from 2014 with sensors require recalibration as it is a safety issue. They should have been aware of this! Also, there is NO reset button and the dealership’s price was $99.00 so I had it done there. Very disappointing with the misinformation I was given, the new scratch and the possible two extra trips and time I would have wasted there. I don’t know if there is new ownership or management but I will not be returning after so many years.
After speaking to Mason the owner, it was brought to my attention that the employee who gave me misleading information is no longer employed there and I was reimbursed for the recalibration.

Excellent pricing, quality of installation and speed of service. Highly recommend. Didn’t dock points, but one improvement would be checkout. The woman who was helping me seemed far more interested in chatting with coworkers than processing my checkout quickly.

Highly recommend for windshield repair/replacement. Had a massive rock smash my windshield this morning, so I panick called CalAlta- they had my car in immediately and were finished before it was even lunchtime.

I came in to get a possible water leak checked out. Everybody was very friendly and helpful, and they identified & fixed the potential problem very quickly. I expected to have to pay even though it was very quick, but they let me have it for free :)

Called at 10:55 They had room and a windshield in stock. Drove in at 11:10 Car was done by 11:33. Excellent service. I love that that they give a large discount for a veterans foodbank donation. Well done CalAlta

No bodies perfect.. but I have been coming here for more than a decade. People are honest and will recommend the best possible option for your vehicle, like the cash grab calibration option that is standard to other shops. And you'll get great discounts supporting their food drive.. It's totally a win-win solution!

Mom and pop style vehicle glass supplier and installer. They were the most affordable shop I found in the city, service was excellent, and they had me in and out in under 2 hours! Staff were friendly and approachable. While I was waiting for my vehicle, there were many repeat customers coming back to have more work done. Will certainly come here again in the future, and would happily recommend them for efficient windshield installs!

I'm not one to write a review- but I had the greatest experience with CalAlta South Location and felt the need to do one. From the moment I walked in (with about 5 other people in line at the same time) The service was prompt, informative, and the front office staff was ACTUALLY kind. They got everyone in fast, and within the same hour- got is all out. These little things make a big difference. Cal Alta you have a new customer for life!
