It has a wide variety of organic products of all kinds, both edible and for personal care, shampoo, body soap, they even have ripe bananas to make cakes.

Seems it’s more important for certain staff to chat with her coworkers than helping customers
The security guard is doing a much better job in that regard.

Love this place for its produce and staff. To be specific Festus, their security guard, is amazing! He is so helpful and kind (he knows how to pick out the best fruits). We’ve been customers for about a year now since moving to Calgary and he’s a friendly face we look forward to seeing. :)

I like the selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Their meat department does not pack for families of 2. Their dry goods are average.
Their on-floor staff are RUDE. We no longer shop here. Never again.

Overall, it is a great store to purchase natural foods, beauty, and health products. The staff that work in health and beauty are the most caring service staff I have ever encountered. I've always felt valued whenever purchasing supplements for minor ailments.
I've lived in Bridgeland for 5 years, and Blushlane has been the shop I frequent most often, but since my most recent experience, I won't be returning. I arrived at the store around 8:15 pm and did my normal shopping. This day, I was wearing headphones and unfortunately did not hear the "10 minutes till closing" warning. I had asked for a sample of some protein powder because the previous one I purchased tastes... not great. The associate happily grabbed me a sample, and we had a brief conversation. She informed me it was 8:55 and she needed to go. As I had completed most of my shopping, with the exception of some bulk items, I was not rushing, but I knew I had to leave. I was then approached by who I assumed was the manager and he told me I needed to go to checkout IMMEDIATELY. I told him I just needed to grab two bulk items, and I was done. He proceeded to follow me to the bulk section, watching me put salt and sugar in the bags provided. I saw they had raw pumpkin seeds in bulk so I decided to grab some as well. Apparently this crossed the line as he said, "You said you were getting two bulk things, not three." At this point I was extremely uncomfortable and felt like I was doing something wrong so I rushed to the till. I arrived at the cashier at 8:58 and found the manager BLOCKING me from going back into the aisles(as if I wanted to be in there any longer than I needed to be).
After the cashier rang my 14 items through, she said that she needed to clock out as it was 9pm. I understand that the store closes at 9pm but essentially kicking me out of the store??? Ive worked in many retail stores and I would never imagine treating someone like this. I have ADHD so keeping track of time is hard for me. I wasn't wandering around, I wasn't messing up the shelves, so I'm confused as to why I was treated like a neausance. For a store that promotes "health and wellness", I left anxious and unwelcome. Just because the store closes at 9 doesn't mean the staff clock our at 9???
I've never experienced anything like this before. If you are a late shopper don't go here.

You need to stop treating paying customers like we're thieves. Tired of being followed around by your security guy. I spend money in your store and your business ethics need to change. Do you judge how people dress to warrant such treatment?

Gorgeous market! Came here for their $2 iced americano and left with the cutest lil flower bouquet wrapped in brown paper! Obsessed with their flowers and oooh their coffee is 10/10 ?

What a find for a couple with intolerances to foods. This place was a Godsend for my first visit to Canada.
It's moderate in size but has a wide range of fresh foods and organic foods to suit different needs. I needed gluten free and dairy free foods and I was pleasantly surprised with what they had on offer.

I found the prices to be too expensive for most people. I could not believe that a loaf of sourdough was $8.99 for about 20 slices. I know it is more expensive to eat healthy and the items I get elsewhere were a more reasonable price.
