Just wanted to say thank you to this amazing team. After being let down by several dealerships for months I came across Josh, he was very knowledgeable, straightforward and concise about my options and kept sincere communication at all time during the process, which I really appreciated after dealing with agents who only sugar coated facts with no results at the end. The whole buying process ended up being pretty smooth and efficient.After months trying to buy the car I needed, I finally got it. Thank you again Josh! Real positive people there!

I honestly thought that buying a vehicle here would be like any other used car dealer experience. You know what I’m saying..the dealer gets the cash and the customer gets the junk right? Not so with Automaxx. The credit process was almost painless, you all know how that works..lol. The thing that impressed me most is this. Not only did I purchase my vehicle from a small set of pictures, (I never laid eyes on it until delivery), but they did their utmost to deliver it to me when I needed it most. It was in better shape than I thought it would be and I must say I’m very impressed with the sales staff in helping with the whole process. Good job Automaxx. This is one trucker who is very impressed with the lengths your people will go to provide a great purchasing experience, keep up the good work.

Buyers beware sales and service cant communicate certain stipulations on warranty protocols, for engine warranty to be covered. So if you do your own services be prepared when you have engine failure or problems you will be paying out of pocket not running there so called special oil additive. Thanks for selling me a pos that needs a $5000 engine and a $3000 transfer case because you cant do a simple proper inspection. PS blue towel is what came from engine filter and other is transfer case oil with oil pan in back ground ??

Short story: vehicle got written as a write off and I needed something ASAP. I came in as a previous customer back in 2017 and bought a used Hyundai Sonata. Price was great, ride was chill. I just moved to Edmonton from the NWT. We discussed the purchase and the staff drove the vehicle to Edmonton International Airport to drop it off. We signed the paperwork and they flew back to Calgary. This left a great impression on me.Flash forward to 2024. During that nasty icy spell in January, I crashed that poor Sonata on some black ice and it got destroyed. Complete write off. Guess who came to mind when I needed a new vehicle? Clearly not House of Overpriced cars. :D I gave Automaxx on 16th a call and Kelly (Munn) answered.We had a short chat, and then I gave her my personal information. Over the phone? OH NO! You should never do that, right? Wrong. The staff here were super chill and took care of business. Within 12 hours or so, Kelly shot me a ton of photos of AWD vehicles that I was looking for. After another short call, we arranged a meeting at Automaxx and we discussed fiances and whether I wanted to test drive any of the vehicles.The next day (2/7), I went back to the location once I got all my finances ready and went to test drive a few vehicles that Kelly had selected for me. Sadly, Kelly was off so I was introduced to Mr. Alex. He's a cool dude and had a lot of patience. He guided me through the rest of the paperwork, test driving, and helped me secure a decent leasing plan from a major bank! The overall process of test driving 3 vehicles, doing the paperwork, and signing for everything took about 2.5 hours. It WASN'T painful and was quite speedy.Sadly, the Hyundai Kona 2021 I was looking to purchase wasn't fully cleaned and ready. Instead of going home in a vehicle that wasn't ready to be driven off the lot, Automaxx gave me a loaner vehicle for the next 24 hours while they fully serviced the Kona. Do other businesses do that? I have no idea because it never came up in any conversation with local competitors (or they simply don't care enough to discuss such things?). I left around 18:40.The next day (2/8), I returned the Chevy Malibu 2022 after I finished my university classes and work in the evening (around 17:00). We finalised the paperwork, I got all my copies, made the first payment for the vehicle and drove off with the new Kona. I was surprised at how chill the staff here, and how determined they were to make a good and honest sale. No BS, no rushing, and no pressure. I told them I didn't want to purchase the more expensive Mazda CX-5. Cool, no pressure. They cleaned the Kona, took it to the shop and got it maintained before it left their lot. I'm extremely pleased with the service from Mr. Alex and Kelly. Brandon helped with finding a better financing/lease plan, knocking down the interest by 0.02%.As an added bonus, Brandon and Mr. Alex checked to see if they could get me signed up with a better insurance deal. They made some calls to potential insurance companies on my behalf, two of them called me to confirm the information. Automaxx also took care of getting a new license plate and the registration. It was 20$ cheaper than going to New Urban Registry (as I paid 120$ previously compared to only 100$ this time)!Thanks to the awesome and hardworking staff at Automaxx! Maybe I'm biased in this review? From the two experiences I've had here, it is definitely the best option I've come across.

Absolutely recommend anyone looking for a car to Automaxx on 16th. Brittany did everything she could to get us in our new car. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome! On the week of Nov 20 I was contacted by a sale person asking if I’d like to refinance my current vehicle for I told them if I could do that it would be great or get me into a cheaper vehicle. We found new vehicle with a cheaper payment but my current vehicle was not included in the purchase because of my financial situation so I was told that the new vehicle would be under my name and my wife’s name and all I’d have to do with the other vehicle is just call the bank and tell them that I’m surrendering it and all would be good we could move on with our new vehicle and our cheaper payments but I’d have to call the back after I signed the paper work. The day after signing I called the back and they pretty much laughed at me on the phone and now I’m stuck with not one but 2 car payments and after asking to cancel the new car payment I’m told that once the paper work is signed it’s to late even less than 24 hours of owning the vehicle. After talking to the the back that the new vehicle is financed through I’m told that YES you car return the vehicle but I have to get the dealer to send in the proper paperwork to do so and you guys are telling me that it can’t be done. We signed for this vehicle on Nov 22 and it now Nov 27, we haven’t made a car payment yet. All I’m asking is to come and pick up your vehicle and cancel the contract we signed.

The van We use for work...courier work.....got too tired and broken down and was requiring constant and pricey repairs. Fearing it would die on the road and leave us stranded it became suddenly necessary to purchase quickly, an affordable option. The woman who assisted us was very helpful and worked hard to locate something that fit our needs in our budget range. We are very happy with the vehicle she found for us. We would highly recommend this dealership and suggest you ask for Kelly. Thanks for keeping us on the road so we can continue to work.

I have filed complaints with the governing agencies already, but here is my review.I ended up being contacted by AutoMaxx after I filed a soft check via a 3rd party advertisement found on Credit Karma. When contacted by their Sales & Finance "Specialist" I explained, in writing, how I was only looking for a rough estimate based on the soft check and did not want to run a hard credit check. From there I didn't hear back at all because obviously I wasn't an easy target. Low and behold I got a hard check inquiry notification from Credit Karma the next day from AutoMaxx. When I confronted I was told how I was wrong and they had every right to check.Stay far far away. Not only was there and immediate attempt to gaslight me, but these are the kind of people the check 100 different agencies to sell a single mother a $1000/month lemon just to get numbers up.
