Prices are the highest in the city.
You can find everything much cheaper in any store in Calgary(even online).
The staff is also not very friendly.
Unpleasant experience.
I was planning to revisit that store.
Not anymore.

Ordered a 25 lb Turkey 10 days ago when t to pick up and all they had was a 6.5 kg, not impressed

Employees on site are dismissive.
Went in to purchase some date treats, couldn’t find it so asked an employee. He said that they did not have the particular brand of dates since they are for the holidays. I shared a post from the dates being in store in April. The employee then relented and went to check stock. Lo and behold they were in store.
We tried to check-out but no one was available. We tried to catch the eye of the employee earlier but he was busy talking to someone. We had to look around and finally someone carrying stock rang us through.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Helped me find a few things. They also have a great selection of plant-based alternatives which really helps for those with allergies.

My hats off to the worker there named Bob. The guy has a wealth of knowledge, whether it be grocery items or health care products he seems to know it all. If he doesn’t, he finds out immediately. I have health issues and when I go in there looking for something he shows me the product I’m looking for but takes the time to also show me comparable products and tells me about the benefits of each one. I really appreciate him going above and beyond for people. Thank you!

I frequent this lovely store in Arbour lake and can spend allot of time here, because they have so many wonderful things to explore.
One of the things I love about Amaranth is how helpful their employees are. If you cant find something or if they don't have it, they will order it for you. Love that.
They carry everything for anyone looking to be more healthy or just people who want to know what kind of food they are buying and what's in it.
I will continue visiting and buying at this neighborhood gem :o)

Amaranth is my go-to for health and wellness purchases as the staff are so informative and helpful. The staff are always eager to help when I’m unsure what I need. The grocery selection at Arbour Lake is also excellent. And a bonus is customer appreciation days!

Had great experience shopping in amaranth Foods.. The staff was really helpful. The observe customers while simultaneously managing the store needs. As an instacart shopper I went to the store. I was searching for a particular product it was taking ages to find the product and I could find it eventually and my timer was running down. One of the store representative came up to answer politely asked if they can help me with anything.. From that moment the store representative helped finding every product and saved lot of my time.. The cashiers are very friendly and they have got stickers at the cashier station which are very attractive and fun.. Really loved the experience
