BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!! ZERO STARSI am a verified customer of this business. $3300 worth. The last 2 and a half months I have been trying to get Shalvin, or Sheldon as he told me, to fix the problems that he created while rebuilding my transmission and replacing my clutch. After going back multiple times due to extremely poor workmanship,(blown seal the first ten minutes, not shifting into multiple gears, noise in transmission, unacceptable clutch shudder, etc), he still had not fixed the problems. My list of issues with this business are so extensive that it would take pages to list. Shalvin told me he was the owner of the shop and heavily insinuated that he was also the mechanic doing the work on my car. He is not the owner, nor a certified mechanic. I believed this for two and a half months as I never met anyone else, nor did Shalvin mention anyone else being the owner or the journeyman mechanic. Repair shops must be licenced under AMVIC in order to operate. And under this license they must follow many rules and regulations. Mostly for the safety of the customer whos vehicles they work on. I advise anyone needing work to go to the AMVIC website and read all your rights as a consumer. There are also rules under the Consumer Protection Act and Automotive Business Regulations that auto repair businesess MUST follow. These are to protect the consumer from shady businesses and unquaified persons doing work on vehicles that will then have peoples lives counting on the work being properly done. Some of these regulations also are to protect the consumer from getting ripped off financially also. Did you know your bill can only be 10% over your estimate, to a maximum of $100? I was charged for a service that I said no too, as well as charged for 2 clutches. A total of $639. Now, after some time, and me asking for this money back, it was returned. But I had to ask for it. He never brought it up himself. It didn't feel like a mistake, it felt deliberate. My car was also damaged in their possession and they didn't take responsibility for it. This seems like a pattern with this business. They don't take responsibility for their mistakes or poor workmanship. After trying over and over to get my car repaired, I just wanted my money back so I could go somewhere else to get my car fixed. That is when Shalvin, and the new manager, Sam, pleaded with me to give them one more chance to fix the car properly. They gave me a written contract, and a verbal one, that they would put in another transmission that they had, newly rebuilt in a crate, as well as a new clutch. I agreed to this final offer to repair properly this time. They made an appointment and I brought my car back the following Monday. On Wednesday I called to see what was happening. Sam told me that the owner, not Shalvin, but his Dad, Vic, said he wasn't going to fix my car. Vic said there was nothing wrong with it. This was the first time in two and a half months that I had ever seen or heard of Vic. He had never met me, spoken to me, and even though I had been there at least ten times, I had never seen him in the shop or office. He now tells me that he was the one working on my vehicle. I know that not be be true as I saw my vehicle being worked on, and it wasn't him. Strange that this person, the owner and actual mechanic, had never once asked me about the problems with my car. I took Vic for a test drive in my car and showed him the various problems. I had gotten two other assessments in the previous weeks, at my cost, as well as an off books assessment from my neighbor that is a journyman at Honda, to show Shalvin what the problems were. Vic made excuses that these problems were normal or they were my fault because I didnt didn't know how to drive properly. This is a business that, when they do terrible work on your vehicle, will then refuse to take responsibility for that, not fix it, and then blame the customer. $3300 gone, stolen by Apollo.

Need an inspection? Shalvin at A-Apollo Automotive is your guy!He was able to get my BMW wagon in for an out of province inspection the next day after giving him a message. He was honest about anything the car needed and how much everything would cost and even got repairs done same day.Despite the Alberta eFacility website being down (not allowing us to get the inspection paperwork), he gave consistent updates on the status of my paperwork so I could get my car registered as soon as possible.Definitely recommend him for any of your inspection needs, and even any vehicle maintenance needs.

This is a great local business!! Business owner is super nice and professional. They did a quote for my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan. Needed my front brake pads+rotors done. Once he had the van in the shop, he did a full inspection and let me know what needed work and what was within spec.I needed a coolant flush (during testing, my coolant was only rated to 0°c and not the required -35°c). He also showed me my interior air filter which desperately needed changing. I approved of the work and it was done ahead of schedule.So I had my brakes done, oil changed, coolant flushed, and air filter replaced all within the quoted amount and ahead of schedule as well!!!Highly recommend this business. Bought a vehicle into the shop that I was looking to purchase which needed an out of province inspection. They were able to book me in same day and provide me with a detailed inspection report. They were able to get all the parts ordered in and had my vehicle ready to register within a few days! I now come back here for all my regular maintenance items for all my vehicles. When I arrived at the service center, I had a clear understanding of the service cost as per their advertised price. However, upon receiving the invoice, I was taken aback by the exorbitant amount they demanded, which was significantly higher than what we had discussed. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, and it left me feeling cheated and deceived.Furthermore, the lack of transparency regarding additional charges was utterly frustrating. I called to have my car looked at on the weekend. no one picks up,so I try again a few more times, then the next day, finally I get through to someone and he tells me to swing by there on Saturday to have a look, I ask at what time and they say "any time after 9 o clock". The day of my "appointment" I call at 8am to see if I can drop off my car early, no one picks up. I call again at 830 no reply, so I drive there and low and behold, they are closed and no one is there. I leave thinking that maybe I was too early, so I did some errands, and returned to their shop a couple hours later. When I get there, a couple cars are parked infront of the shop so I think that there is someone there, I yank on the door, it's locked, I peek inside, lights are off. I call the number and no one answered so I didn't want to waste more time with them so I left.

Shelvin did an awesome job from the moment we first met. Phenomenal customer service, spoke to me on a human level, and provided explanations to each of the issues. Got a serious leak from the transmission. One mechanic i went to said it was this issue and was going to cost me 1000$. I went here they found the actual issue. Got a alignment and a oil change and the issue fixed all under what I was quotedby the other. Fast friendly. Will definitely be my go too if I have any thing I need repair.

Called to Book an Appointment for November 11. A few days later Sheldon calls me to reschedule as he didn't realize they were closed that day. So we rescheduled for Saturday the 26th at 9am.I get there at 845 and no one is there so I call repeatedly with no answer. Waited outside until 930, then left.Very unprofessional. I would not recommend them at all.
