It's always been a good spot to find a deal on something you're looking for, although some elements have fallen off a bit in recent years.
They're never "buying that particular equipment right now" but will happily accept it as a donation. They're also not very thrilled to see you come in the door, and you can definitely feel it. Yeah working for a family business sucks, but if it's that upsetting, do something else.
It's not a bad place, but could certainly use some work in the customer experience department.

I needed a basketball so I thought I would check this place out instead of Sport Chek. They had lots of high quality balls so I got two at $13 each. Very happy with with them.
If I need any sports equipment, I will call these guys first.

Great store especially if you don't want to spend tons of money on new sporting goods there used supply is in great shape and Is very reasonably priced. I bought a used baseball glove for just throwing a ball against a wall to just keep myself busy. I'd recommend shopping there.

Really great guy running this place, really helpful and knowledgeable. Picked up lots of stuff from kids skates, baseball bats and weights. Will be back for more.

Friendly service, used sports equipment in good condition. All sports gear all season. Skates sharpened while you wait. Some new items as well.

Had a wonderful experience here with getting a baseball glove. I really wish they had more sizes but that’s ok I am sure people have cleared them out with the season already started. The store customer service was top notch with everyone I had the chance to deal with! Highly recommended.
