Sadly the experience we had with this moving company has a lot to be desired!! At first contact everything was going according to plan as I scheduled my mothers move 2.5 months ahead of time, then 1 week before the move date I was asked to change the load date to the Saturday instead of the Friday, as this was a long distance move and a matter of flight schedules the load date could not be changed. So I thought it was good to be left at that. But, the day of loading I was not being contacted so I contacted them and found out that my mothers move (booked 2.5 months in advance) was removed from the books PERMANENTLY, after many phone calls and a phone call from a woman in her senior years did things start to happen, third party movers were brought in to remove the furniture and belongings, then we found out that nothing was wrapped, with the exception of what was wrapped previously, then items were left at the loading dock. I have been trying for over 1 month to have acknowledgement of left items but I keep being ignored, these items may hold no importance to them but, they do hold importance to us, and this does not even account for the scratched, broken, or shattered items that were on the trucks.
The driver and his swamper did the best that they could, however the office staff have much to be desired in their customer service dealings

We first used 2 Burley Men 6 years ago and they were excellent. We used them again 2 months ago and what a difference. When the movers left our house they said they’d be at our new place on Monday, they arrived on Friday after no updates or answering our calls. When they did arrive, it was in a different truck then they had loaded our belongings into. Unsurprisingly, 4 of our big items did not make it. As well, they tried to convince me that a painting that came off the truck was mine, it must’ve been from a different customer. After weekly calls to the head office, they show no desire to locate the missing items, or to deliver the one missing item they claimed to have found. Complete unprofessionalism the whole way through. Very sad to have happened after years of recommending them.

LC and Matthew were absolutely amazing when we hired them for our move. They were both very friendly and patient and the attention to detail was above and beyond our expectations! We had a lot of antique furniture and they were extremely cautious and wrapped each item carefully and we were so happy when everything arrived at our new home in perfect condition. We would highly recommend LC and Matthew for any moving needs. Thanks again guys!

LC & Hashim did a very good job moving our stuff we did a long haul move. They did great handling our stuff and were polite and friendly. They worked efficiently.
Their dispatch wasn’t the greatest did a poor job of scheduling movers arrival times the same as what was planned.

I hired 2 burley men to move from BC to AB, it was the worst service I have ever received!
The date they gave me for completion of the move was not followed. Instead I had to call multiple times to find my furniture and once they tracked it down it was a WEEK late arriving in Alberta. On top of that they forgot some items in my storage locker and charged me another $300 to go back and pick it up. Never again!

Great service! Matt & Duol, the movers, were polite and efficient. They took time to wrap up our glass table tops and handled all our furniture with care. Aaron, the manager, was friendly, professional and accommodating. We appreciate that they are also able to store our belongings until we’re in our new place!
