Great Selection, Friendly Staff, and Clean Store! 5⭐️
This liquor store has an excellent selection of wines and spirits. The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help with recommendations. The store is clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what you need. Plus, they have convenient hours, staying open late, which is a big plus. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Went in to get wine recommendations for a gift. Every time I asked a question, I was greeted with a scowl, attitude and defensiveness by the owner. I swear at one point I even saw him roll his eyes. Both my friend and I noticed his passive aggression and rudeness. Completely inappropriate—clearly customer service isn’t for everyone.

This place has the nerve to ask for a tip on the credit card machine. I felt rushed because there were people behind me and I just hit the lowest option which was 15%. I will NEVER go to this liquor store again.
This is the reason that people are getting sick of tip culture!

Honestly amazing service, the guy running it is a totally mensch. Granted I know people aren’t usually looking for much when just popping into a liquor store, but this one’s worth it for the customer service

When you pay by credit card the machine asks for a tip, just like a restaurant. I was put on the spot because of the way he thrust the machine at me while he watched, and there were people behind me, so I paid 15% rather than finding the manual option of zero. 15%?! on top of my beer price? I will never shop there again.

My goto for my liquor needs. If they don't have what I'm looking for, they'll special order it for me. Not many places these days give you that kind of service.

Liquor is kind of expensive, however way cheaper than clubbing on 17th Ave they also didn't have that big of a selection but the person working there was so nice

Recently I went in to buy 3 bottles of luxury bourbon. Joe (the owner) helped me find the exact bottles I needed to complete a very rare collection. He took the time to sort through over 20 bottles. This is just the beginning of the service I received.In the process I was accidentally charged for an additional bottle and did not realize until I got home. I called the store and Joe was so thankful I had called and immediately knew who I was because he also noticed after I had left that I was overcharged. He apologized around 100 times for the mix up.I went back to the store and we remedied the honest mistake. This experience speaks to this store's honesty, integrity, and class as this could have just been swept under the rug but they took it upon themselves to fix this mistake and did it in a very quick manner.In addition to the great service I received; the store has one of the best selections for rare whisky, bourbon, and wines I have seen. No where in Calgary had what I was looking for and this store had all I needed and then some.I HIGHLY recommend this store and to deal with Joe or Rob (at the East Village Location) as I certainly will be back and felt the need to share my great experience.
