My usual car wash for a great wash when I want to do it myself. The service is good and the prices are fair

I have patronized more than a few car washes in Calgary (17th Avenue Car Wash, Supreme Truck and Car Wash, Servpro Car Wash) and 10th and 10th Car Wash is by far, the better car wash. Adequate water pressure, soap in the 'wash' cycle, and competitive pricing... I was more than pleased with how clean my Jeep looked after visiting 10th and 10th Car Wash... thank you!

I washed my car for within 11 mins and it charged me $12 (according to the screen) When I checked my credit card it charged me $15…. May I know why the amount would be $15?

Update:
In response to the owners comments;
Other car washes I go to completely remove the dirt film because they use R.O. filters, nothing about recycled water.
I understand that you want to generate additional revenue by selling spot free rinse but that still does not remove the dirt film, I did try that at your car wash too.
Foam brush, even when properly cleaned prior to use, scratches the paint, especially noticeable on darker colors.
Your inadequate solutions to the issues I mentioned all involve spending more money on features of your carwash and ignore the reality that you are offering a substandard water which can not remove the dirt film from the vehicle.
I recommend avoiding this car wash unless you're just trying to get the majority of the muck off your vehicle and don't mind the haze of dirt remaining, or unless you're willing to bucket wash your vehicle with your own wash mit and your own suds, in which case you will find that it is a great car wash for your needs. However, don't believe that their super low pressure spot free rinse will remove that layer of dirt film, or that their industrial bristles on the foam brush will not scratch the heck out of your clearcoat.
If you read the other reviews for this carwash you will notice a pattern of customers commenting that the soap isn't strong enough. The issue in fact is that this car wash uses hard water so you can never get the dirt film off. Calgary has very hard water, meaning that the water has a lot of dissolved minerals in it (about 15 grains per gallon). To get the film of dirt off the car requires pure water with no dissolved minerals, so the pure water can dissolve away the dirt layer on the car. This requires additional filtering of the city water before its presureized by the car wash to spray off your vehicle.
Most car washes have this equipment (reverse osmosis) but 10th & 10th Carwash doesn't have this equipment cleaning the water supplying their high pressure spray. This is because they don't want to invest the money. Instead they advise that you use their foam brush, where they just generate more revenue off you and your paint's cearcoat gets scratched up badly. Depending on your vehicles color you may not notice the scratches right away.
Original review:
Great location. Price is a bit high but for downtown Calgary its fair.
The problem with this carwash is that they seem to not be using a reverse osmosis for their water like most other car washes. The result is that no matter how much of their soap or power wash that they use it does not take the that film of dirt off the car. Other car washes leave the paint clean where you could wipe the paint with a towel and the towel is clean. When I do that here my towel is very dirty (paint gets scratched when wiping down because of the film of dirt).
I still come here sometimes for convenience but it is disappointing unless you are bucket washing it yourself to get that film of dirt off safety without scratching the paint.

If you don’t want to get ripped off . Stay away from this place ! I bought one of their pre paid cards for washes and haven’t used it for a couple months and surprise. My balance disappeared off of it.

If I don't use the brush on my truck it doesn't come clean.

People are very nice.

? Super stinge on foam brush.
I've washed my car here several times. The foam brush never gives sensible amount of foam. It is getting worse and worse.
Never gonna wash here again.

I'd like to say it is a great auto car wash station. Everything, what you need, you can find here: high pressure pump, detergent, vacuum, holders for car mats. Just the only one thing: detergent is pretty weak. I wish it had to be stronger. The evarage cos for me was $5-6

This was the only car wash I used while living downtown for many years. I still find myself going there occasionally and am thankful the quality of the bays and staff is still great. I recommend only paying with cash/coins though, as I have been there a few times and noticed that people forget to cancel/complete the transaction with their credit card which would allow others to use up the remainder of their prepaid amounts.

Easy to use and one of the best in town, both coins and credit cards are accepted by the machine, minimum 2 dollars, both 1 dollar and 2 dollars coins ?
