Some say it's not a "real hill" because it stands alone, unmatched in it's field.. and also that it was manufactured... But these are minor things when you consider all the joy it brings the kids when it snows. It may not be a great hill when compared to it's brethren among the Rockies, but it belongs to the hamlet of Blackie, and for that it is thus named.
