Broke down while moving across the country and the nice folks as ks auto were able to get my problem diagnosed and fixed on the same day! Even though they had to order the part from Calgary they were still able to find time to get everything installed and ready to go faster than I had ever experienced. If it wasn't for them I would've been stuck in Bassano sleeping in my car. Another thing to mention is that the price was really good especially considering they took me in without an appointment or really any notice. Also Chevy the cat was an awesome distraction from the stress of the day. 10/10 would recommend getting any work done by them if you live in the area or you have any problems while your passing through. Thanks again guys for the help and making me feel comfortable during the whole experience I really can't thank y'all enough.

While on a road trip we needed some minor work done to our car. Knowing we were from out of town, they helped us out so we could continue our trip. The fee was very reasonable and playing with Chevy the Cat made our day!!

The service is incredible!
We were heading to Banff with our motorhome and had a issue with our engine's temperature. We called Point S K&S Auto and Truck Repair and they helped us without any notice. On our arrival, Bill immediately runned tests on our vehicule and confort us without even wanting to be paid.
We highly recommend this place!!

We were in Bassano for the rodeo and my dogs ended up locking the doors to our truck with the keys in it. We called AMA and the nearest tow truck was over an hour away. One call to Bill at K & S and he was there and had our doors unlocked in under 10 minutes. Travelling up and down the road comes with its share of stresses. Bill’s prompt service was sure appreciated and we will absolutely be calling him again for any automotive issues when we are in the area (just hopefully not because we get locked out again!).

Best shop you can go to, he's always fast polite and most importantly, of all truthful. Probably won't find better service at a more affordable rate anywhere else

The mechanic and his team went above and beyond to help me when my car broke down on the afternoon right before a long weekend. I was heading from Medicine Hat back to home in Calgary. They took me in when the surrounding auto shops declined all help until the following week. He came in on his weekend off and was able to quickly repair my car. Bonus: Pricing was very affordable! I would recommend them to anyone.

I did not think it was possible to be grateful that the car broke down until it decided to on a trip from Calgary that took us nearby Bassano. This is the best place ever to have car repair needs as it gives you the opportunity to meet William, an inter-provincially certified mechanic, and his Journeyman son, Matthew. They went above and beyond and had us back on the road in less than 24 hours, despite not even having the part required when we pulled in just before closing on a Tuesday evening. They stayed late to diagnose the issue and gave us information about the resources we might need overnight. William ensured that the car was solid enough for us to make short trips in town that night and even lent me a phone charger since we didn't pack anything for a surprise car breakdown "holiday." (Having the car overnight really saved us, too!)The next morning, they were able to get the part in earlier than expected and we were back on the road before 10:30am. While we waited, I chatted with a few other customers who were waiting or just stopped to talk. They all assured us that we were in good hands when they learned we were out-of-towners. All of the interactions I saw between them and their customers showed consistent respectful and solutions-focused service. Despite how busy they were, nothing felt hectic or rushed, in fact their waiting area had a calming energy to it both when they were closing and the next morning. They were welcoming and professional and truly stand behind their motto, "Where honesty and integrity meet mechanics!" I am very grateful to have found a mechanic like William and his family/team. I can honestly say they did everything they could to make the car breaking down as stress-free and pleasurable as an unexpected emergency could be.

Travelling home from Banff and had engine troubles. We limped into Bassano and found Bill at K&S . He took our vehicle in immediately, established that we had a spark plug that was cracked and suggested we get them all replaced. We agreed. Bill and his staff postponed their lunch hour, did the work promptly and for a fair price and we were back on the road within an hour. We highly recommend going to Bill at K&S Auto and Truck Repair in Bassano, AB! *****5 STARS*****Bill is officially our hero!!! We were travelling from the West to Central Canada when the check engine light started flashing, and the engine sounded like it was dying. By luck, we managed to drive into Bassano and Bill quickly figured out what was wrong with the engine (fuel injector failed), replaced the part and got us back on the road tour! We are so grateful to Bill for his expertise and help… We will be driving from Calgary to see Bill for all of our future maintenance work, because we trust him 100%. Thank you so much Bill!!!
