Walking across Canada I stopped to rest at this Esso station after walking 37 kilometres in 32 degree heat Man these people are amazing. Staff will go out if their way to make YOU have a great experience, it wasn’t just me they treated everyone like honoured guest from what I seen. Definitely a great place to check out, small town with great people, a rare find today and so valued

Poorly maintained parking lot.
This pot hole in there parking lot caused $1500 in damage. We hit it while towing our camping trailer away from the gas pump.
We called and spoke with Karen who admitted it’s a bad pot hole and they often fill it. Then told us to call the owner. The owner then said in their lease agreement they are in charge of keeping their parking lot in good shape. He said he will have Karen call us back.
We have yet to hear back from Karen. We often hit this gas station on our way camping but after their poorly maintained parking lot that has changed.
I’m truly pretty disappointed with the whole experience. This pot hole is clearly right in front of your gas pumps. And you should be taking care of your parking lot right in front of the gas pump.

The restrooms were small and dirty, and the only urinal was super low to the ground. The gas is also a bit pricey.

Constantly 8c/L more than the co-op card lock up the road that takes credit card. Stopped going to the esso due to price and pumps not working

Lots of truck parking, clean, and the restaurant serves good food. My only complaint is, when I wake up in the morning it would be nice to splash some water on my face and brush my teeth. Unfortunately the water in the washrooms is only cold and they only have hand dryers. Unfortunately this isn't the only truckstop that doesn't care about the drivers that support their business.
