A place loaded with history and how life was in Banff. Must GO & Just watch how many times they smile - this place is a treasure! I think this is the best museum the way it’s maintained so hygienic, highly appreciated & the staff here are so polite & friendly. Thank

The 12 dollars entry fee is totally worth it. We got to see a lot of amazing artwork of the Canadian Rockies and we also learned a lot of history.
The Whyte Museum inspires discovery and wonder when people and the Rocky Mountains meet. Our founders, Peter Whyte and Catharine Robb Whyte, were local artists and philanthropists. Peter and Catharine wished to offer a place where people could gather and appreciate the culture and beauty of the area. We share stories and explore the culture shaped by this mountain landscape.
