Today I had a bad experience with the man who was in charge of closing the door. The man looked upset because I arrived at the checkout to pay at closing time. I was buying clothes for myself and my family and I forgot my purse in my car. So I asked him to open the door so I could go out and get my purse to pay. He didn't want to open the door. He preferred to cancel the order and return the clothes. Very bad service. Terrible. It was just a 30 second wait. My car was in front of the store.

I've been a long-time customer of Value Village and used to enjoy the treasure hunt for affordable, second-hand items. Unfortunately, the prices have become so overinflated that the "value" in Value Village feels non-existent. Items that were once a great deal now cost nearly as much as buying new, making it no longer worth the trip.
While I appreciate the mission of recycling and supporting communities, the pricing strategy alienates those who relied on this store for budget-friendly shopping. It's disappointing to see the shift away from affordability. I hope they reconsider and realign their prices to reflect the original purpose of the store.

It's okay, staff is good, have a variety of clothing just not always the best quality. However, I'd still go there steady, it's just about your ability to take your time & find the specials
Also you get a 20% discount when you take some stuff over to donate.

For getting All their inventory for free, they sure are expensive. Prices the same vs brand new items. Pretty disgraceful to try and squeeze as much profit out of your donations
