“Pet Valu’s are pretty standard across any location. Which is to be expected of a well oiled machine.
Where this location stands out, is the staff.
They are friendly in a human way vs a corporate “act friendly” way, knowledgeable about product, and they genuinely care about pets and the customers alike.
What is also nice to see is that the staff work harmoniously.
In this world it is difficult to find staff like this, so if you are reading this and manage this location or this company, give these folks raises. Do whatever you can to retain them(I don’t know them personally P.s.), this is how you continue being a fantastic company.”
“Selection is excellent. Caters to so many varieties of dietary requirements. Frozen section is impressive. Treats are impeccable. The staff is the real treat however. They are helpful and friendly. It’s a lovey, relaxed, pet friendly environment. Thank you for the suggestion of Kangaroo tail. They were an enormous hit.”

“We recently moved to Airdrie and needed a great groomer for our two Bernese Mountain dogs, Aurora and Arielle. We came from an acreage and the girls definitely needed lots of TLC to move into our condo. Amber was so accommodating. The girls looked like beautiful puppies again! Amber went above and beyond to bring them back their coats and pretty paws! Complete with sparkling new hair bows! So happy with our service! Will definitely recommend for new customers. “Woman working at the front till at 11:15am and Tuesday, August 27th was an amazing help. I didn't quite catch her name but she went above and beyond to help me find some sugar free options. She also offered a cart when I was struggling and found a bunch of stuff I was looking for. Excellent service :)

“I visited this store yesterday for the first time and I was really impressed! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by staff and offered assistance. The store is laid out really well and not overwhelming with too much stock. They carry a lot of natural products and local items as well. I noticed lots of Canadian brands which I like to see. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a points program and daily specials! I’ll definitely be returning here! I was really impressed with the excellent customer service.”
