The ladies at the front desk and check out are great and auto guys are pretty good. The employees working the departments are allergic to customers and will avoid you like the plague. Even after customer service calls them twice to assist, they'll ignore it and continue hiding. If you need a hand with anything, it's best to do it yourself or go somewhere else where the staff are useful.

Stay away from automotive service. I really do visit this store a lot because i have a small business and we need water softener salts every week. Last tuesday, I went to get my tire-change over done (previous change over was done by same location and stored in my basement). I didn't use the car until wednesday evening and got a low pressure warning. Thursday 8AM, I revisited the store and mentioned about the problem. They only did re-torquing and when i asked if the tire is okay they said it looks okay (not even used the gauge). Same day afternoon, I got the warning again and went to different tire shop nearby.The tire shop staff showed me there's leakage around the rim area and told me looked like Canadian tire didn't put it right and that may have damaged the tire. I went to Canadian tire again and the staff told me to bring it today.They eventually re-worked but the manager is acting like i was at fault and he would do it free this time and next time i have to pay. What a great customer service and response i got for wasting my 2 days and Uber ride. I guess there's no workmanship guarantees here. I will still come here for other stuff and I will make sure to spread the story about the auto service though.
P.S corporate team, instead of leaving auto-generated message, why don't you read thru the negative comments and find out why some customers giving bad reviews. I went thru some of them. looks like they were mostly about auto service and staff attitude.

Customer service Yvonne very ignorant and rude. She has an attitude of she knows everything and is sarcastic when dealing with customers.

Had an alignment done at this Canadian Tire, and it was a disaster. I was given zero information on what was completed. When I asked the staff, the response was "no idea" and I was pointed to the cash to pay. I paid $206 with no clue if my alignment was bad or what was done. Even the mechanic I met outside was confused why no one explained anything. Horrible customer service and incompetent staff. No wonder this was the only location with open appointments. What a mess!

We arrived at 7:30 pm tonight and the fellow on the parts desk needed to help us get a Thule cartop carrier out of the back. He was new on the desk but didn’t take him long to get help and we were sorted in no time. Thanks!

Great location. Zip in and zip out fast . Lots of good retail outlets and food services surrounding this canadian tire . Modern merchandise and clutter free aisles . Ample parking for rvs .

Airdrie Canadian Tire - Poor Customer Service Experience
I recently visited the Airdrie Canadian Tire store to return a product that has a lifetime warranty, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The customer service associate, a woman with red hair and glasses, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of assisting us, she displayed a bad attitude, making us feel unwelcome and treated us as if we were causing an inconvenience.
Returning a product that’s covered under a lifetime warranty should be a straightforward process, but her hostile behavior turned it into a frustrating ordeal. I expect much better service, especially when dealing with warranties. I hope Canadian Tire addresses this issue and improves their staff’s approach to customer service. Date-oct/04/2024

Canadian Tire really needs to label their aisles so that it is easier to find things. Or the sections of their store. They do have polite employees.

Steph..was great and so was Bob, both of whom helped me get my Winter car road worthy while taking great care of my newly installed windshield. Tiptop service front Canadian Tire Auto Service Department, vast improvement from past years. Yay!
