I am a customer of Meadow Lakes Discount Store. They are a find, particularly for used quality furniture, not perfect, in pretty good condition, and artwork. Especially if you are looking for great prices, fine customer service, and no sales tax. The Meadow Lakes Discount Store has been the beneficiary of purchasing in bulk higher end Anchorage hotels remodeling and selling off their "older" furnishings. If you are only interested in brand new furnishings, this is not your kind of place. Otherwise, I highly recommend. Just be prepared to get your purchase(s) home yourself. No delivery service offered.

Bought a “king” mattress here that’s actually closer to an Olympic queen. They are not true king size mattresses.
The response from the store is just silly. Advertising a KING mattress that is not a king and will not properly fit any king frame is dishonest. I’ve changed my 2 star to a 1 star.

I love this place, it's like a mom and pop store, very friendly and clean! I've got a box at the Post office and buy at the store several times a week.

junky not real organized and usually customers come and buy with their eyes 1st so if your place isn't appealing to the eye and mind 1st people are hesitant to buy

Awesome place, awesome people! So much stuff at great prices, and you never know what might be in the store for sale! Everything from refrigerators to bubble gum. Also, the post office is the fastest one around, and there is never a line. I highly recommend this place if you have never been!
