“we don't have water so we go here regularly for showers love the people and pricing is not bad for a local store most are expensive like fish hook food mart and townsite owned by the same person both those and she's expensive but the country stores are reasonable on most items...”

“I have been a Carrs Wasilla customer since 1990. A lot has changed in the Mat-Su Valley over all that time. Just look at the traffic, as well as grocery options.Generally, I will say that grocery shopping at the Carrs Wasilla is on the expensive side, unless you happen to catch items on sale. That said, I think the best value at Carrs Wasilla is their Chinese take-out from the deli department. Now, I have had Chinese food in Hong Kong, Chinatown in San Francisco, and elsewhere. If you are expecting a comparable product, you will likely be disappointed. However, if your frame of reference is Chinese food in the Mat-Su Valley, Carrs Wasilla is the place to go. The value for the money is incomparable. The best time to go is around noon to slightly after and just before or around 4:00 PM. These will be your best times for broadest selections.I typically order the Shanghai Special, which is enough to feed me as a single person for almost an entire week. From time to time, Carrs Wasilla also has a special going, typically on Fridays, which can offer even greater value. If you have a hankering for Chinese food and don't feel like preparing it yourself, Carrs Wasilla is the place to go.”

“This is a conveniently located gas station, that has a coveted outhouse restroom, and small attached liquor store. Has nice availability of drinks and snacks inside as well. With a coffee shack strategically placed in the corner of the lot.”

“Love this place but was seriously dissatipointed to come back after wintering in Kentucky to find a void in the deli case. Those prepared meals like ravioli lasagna, shrimp Alfredo etc, were a staple I came to live by while summering in Alaska. They were inexpensive, great smaller portions and fit perfectly into my campers refrigerator. Please bring them back! I'm absolutely willing to pay a bit more for the convenience.”

“I was recently given a bracelet for a gift that was purchased at Fred Meyers. After I had it sized I attempted to wear it. I wore it three times. Each and every time I wore it, the bracelet fell off my wrist. Lucky for me, I found it each time. I stopped wearing the bracelet and a couple of months later I took it to the store for them to fix it. The salesgirl agreed it was defective and then told me they could fix it for a sum of $72.00. I asked why should I pay for a defective product to be fixed. She had no answer. I asked for the manager to phone me about the issue as the manager was not available. To date, one week later, I have received no call nor any acknowledgement that they will fix the defective clasp. DO NOT PURCHASE AT FRED MEYERS JEWELRY. They will sell you a defective product and refuse to fix it. In order to post this review I had to give them a star rating. I would have preferred to give them a zero rating.I have an update. Yesterday the manager of the store got in touch with me. I met with her today, and the store will fix my bracelet at no charge to me. Yeah! I will change my review to four stars.”

“Three Bears, KGB, is four miles from my house. Can you say convenience? It is clear Three Bears has an agreement with Costco keeping it out of the Mat-Su Valley by carrying many Kirkland products. Prices tend to be inflated compared with Costco. On the other hand, if one does not have a Costco membership or need to do a major re-stock shop, Three Bears is a great alternative. Also noteworthy, Three Bears appears to be strategically located outside Wasilla city limits. Therefore, no sales tax. Selection is quite good. Employees are always helpful. The butchers are especially helpful. Good selection of meat. Recommend.”

“I give these stars to Jennifer in apairelle. That is all she gave me to recognize her. She went above and beyond to assist me over the phone. I was on hold and spoke to several other people in the store, and they couldn't care less about what I was asking. I just wanted visual confirmation on a laptop. Before driving 40 minutes to pick it up. It would be to long, but I wish the leadership could hear how professional and caring she was on the phone. She saved this Walmart from getting a one star, instead receiving five. It would be a missed opportunity to strengthen your staff to not reward her for her excellent character. Thank you again, Jennifer!”

“Nice clean store that is well stocked and has surprisingly good vegan cupcakes that you cannot get in Anchorage. Like, wha? Being in Wasilla you do pay for the sales tax, but if you're heading to Valdez this is a good option for road snackies. Will come again.”

“Just snagged some dry aged steaks today and they were incredible!! First time I’ve splurged like that but well worth it. Couldn’t have been happier with the experience from beginning to end.”

“I like this grocery store but I just feel overwhelmed with all the stores surrounding it. There is just so much going on and I get easily sidetracked with all the other merchandise nearby. If you are in a rush and just want a few things, better off going to CARRS or Walmart. This place can easily suck 1.5 hours of your time perusing the aisle. Other than that, their produce is good quality. Do not come here on Fridays, Holidays or weekends. It gets pretty busy.”

“Stopped in to this crowded location and walked around grocery and clothing. Kid had to use restroom in back of store - Locations inside were clean - location was busy and crowded Prices are Walmart prices and lots of clearance items as well. Checking out was busy - as expected- but in and out with self checkout Walmarts are big and crowded. That's for the selection and prices. Many clearance items we purchased Solid 4 -”
