Transmission works, on time, and within quote--- deposit was a bit steep, but can hardly blame them for wanting to secure their costs. Highly recommend for people needing transmission stuff done in the Matsu.

This place was recommended by other reliable mechanic who couldn't perform the work. The place is off a curve so be watchful for the white van up front. Small shop, owner Dan and another guy named Michael. I had a leak and did not know where or what was going on. Michael put it on the rack, spent almost 45 mins cleaning underneath then told me to drive it for 100-200 miles and to come back next week. Okay.. that way he can see where it's leaking from. However the most interesting thing was when I asked how much I owed him, he stated nothing. Now in this day and age where do you get service like that? I will update once I return for repair but already I like the "mom and pop" shop mentality of good service - good prices. Few of these shops exist where the owners have years of experience and can normally fix an issue without emptying out your bank acct. I went back for a repair and it was completely properly, and under what was quoted.

Started with lose of high gear and slippage. After Additional investigation a leak was found in transmission cooler that a was allowing antifreeze to get in transmission oil. I also had the transfer case overhaul as the blazer had over 240,000 miles on it. All work was preformed on time and original estimate given.
