Talkeetna Inn is a nice, rustic, and clean hotel in a solid location. It is right in Talkeetna but tucked away off the main strip, avoiding crowds and noise. The backyard opens to the river with gorgeous views of Denali, and it is very close to the main downtown street. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. It is an older hotel, and the rooms are very small and tiny for the price paid, though they are clean and tidy. Some rooms face the water. The bed is comfortable and the shower gets hot quick, with perfect water pressure. However, pillows were thin and bathroom towels were small. The Wi-Fi signal can be very weak. Some rooms may have a misty smell. The hotel provides instant coffee, not regular coffee. It is a quiet and manageable place to stay, though expensive, with not much other option in the town.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It was an older hotel and some of the rooms are very small but it was manageable for one night. The location is nice as the town in general is very small and quaint. Solid experience overall and would use again if in the area.

I dont know that I needed a 4-5 person room all to myself but that was what was available and the price was right. It was clean and the water pressure/hot water was perfect. Location is awesome. My only problem was with the town itself. I didn’t realize Talkeetna was mostly elderly white women with gem shops.

Nice inn right in TALKEETNA but off of the main “strip” so you avoid any crowds or noise which was nice. Instead you are tucked away and our room faced the water. Pillows were thin & bathroom towels were small but bed was comfortable and the shower got hot quick! And it was quiet
