He’s friendly and knowledgeable about rocks and rock hounding. The kind of guy you’d love to have sitting around your campfire. Definitely worth the stop and if you don’t find anything you want you can always get some antler pieces for the pups.”

“Was able to visit Homestead Gifts on my last day in Soldotna/Sterling area. Absolutely loved the store, there were so many beautiful pieces and assorted gifts. I ended up buying a knife that was made in Alaska to remember my trip, but I enjoyed there was a great scale and variety of relatively inexpensive gifts to more high end quality purchases. The lady running the shop was so kind and I was glad I could support the business and area before I left. Also, the store is immaculate and very well organized. Check it out.”
