I love the beautiful, creative jewelry here. We stopped in on our cruise and I got a pair of whale ivory forget me not earrings. It was so hard to pick a favorite and the people were so nice! Thanks for a great experience!

Lovely family owned store hidden behind the main row of shops in Ketchikan. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with unique and handmade items that are reasonably priced. I highly recommend you visit and give your business to this rare gem of a store.

We stopped in here to do some souvenir browsing and walked out with more than we were expecting. It will be crowded on cruise port days, obviously, but still worth a stop in.

This attractive shop is located in downtown Ketchikan. The display of local art, whalebone jewelry & other pieces are lovely. Hand painted tiles, cards, etc are from local artists. All 3 local tribes are represented by their art. I bought a small signed, hand carved & painted totem pole. The owners are so friendly and very informative about local culture & Alaskan history. The chairs on the entrance porch make it a comfortable & inviting place to sit after shopping. Put this shop on your radar!

We were looking for authentic Alaskan pieces not made in China etc. This place delivers and the owners are wonderful people. He took the time to tell us about the pieces, stories behind them, the artists etc. Was a wonder experience.

This is one of the only shops left in Ketchikan that is locally owned, locally supplied and beautifully displayed. There are unique carvings (stone, bone and wood) gorgeous art prints, handmade jewellery, and quality small pieces that make great gifts and trip memories. Prices are extremely reasonable! Owners Jesus and Wendy and the lovely gal Jara went out of their way to provide detailed information on the artists and craftspeople that are behind the pieces we were interested in. If you only visit one shop - this should be it. I purchased an amazing stone (geode) bear carving that I will treasure forever. Thank you!!

After strolling by the numerous jewelry stores in Ketchikan, I was so relieved to discover The Rain Barrel. What a lovely store. So many wonderful treasures. Many unique items by local artists! The local owners (Jesus, Wendy, & Jara) are delightful. I will treasure my prints. Looking forward to visiting again!! Cheryl
