“Fantastic store. They carry Denali Dreams Hand Salves! These salves aren't easy to find but are SO worth the hunt! I use them every night before bed and several times a day when fishing!”
“Ketchikan Mining Company is a great place to buy gifts. You can find something for every taste. The staff are very courteous, but the souvenirs are a little expensive.”
“After a tour to the Saxman House, a totem pole workshop and an explanation of the totem poles nearby, the store was an opportunity to use the restroom and shop. I purchased a formline whale sticker to stick on my Earthwell water bottle. There was clothing, house goods, jewelry and much more. Review #72 of 100 in 2023.”
“The store isn't bad but the little fudge shop inside of this store is amazing!! I wanted to sample the fudge but I wasn't planning on buying. However, it was so good we bought 6 pieces! We snacked on it as we walked around Ketchikan. Before we got back on our cruise ship we bought 6 more pieces!! It was hands down the best fudge I've ever had. The Oreo peanut butter flavor was the best!! It's been a year since we were in Alaska and I'm still craving this fudge. I actually just looked up this store to see if they ship their fudge. Looks like we will have to wait til we can go back.”
“For anyone who likes to collect Christmas souvenirs while on vacation, this place is a jackpot. The store is large with multiple entrances. You can find both generic holiday decorations, as well as Alaska specific, such as mini totems and wood carvings. Beware though, since some of those items are made other places (such as Indonesia), and not locally produced.”

“The Rain Barrel is our absolute favorite shop in Ketchikan! Always a great selection of high quality, often one of a kind items created by Alaskan artists! The owners (Jesus & Wendy), along with their staff, make you feel like one of the family! Can't wait to visit them again in the spring!”
