Great way to travel, as long as you dont have a pet...they put them in the car dock area, where its cold, wet and only allow them to be let out, 4 times... in a 24 hours period. I traveled from whittier to bellingham. It was beautiful and the food is good and not to expensive. The beds are pretty comfortable too.

the staff are always helpful and friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. They do not control the prices, which are high, but they take some of the sting of the sticker shock out.

My Big Brother lived and died in Ketchikan Alaska! And he loved his job with Alaska Marine Highway! Thank you all for being so kind and supportive to him during the dark times in his life!
