Changing Tides is a wonderful and well stocked store with local fabric, items, and souvenirs from the area. It features an absolutely wonderful selection of Alaskan artists, fabric, fiber crafts, yarns, and beautiful jewelry. Visitors describe it as a veritable treasure hunt for quality items like earrings, notions, and memorabilia. The shop is very clean, convenient to get to from the port, and has good prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. With so much to look at, it is a must for quilters, fiber artists, and anyone seeking pretty Alaskan fabrics. It is well worth a visit.
This is one of the most well stocked store with local fabric and items from the area. I spent 3 hours there and still didn't see everything. I would go back to Alaska just so I could go to this shop! I loved it.

Loved this store when we visited during our time in port. I left a bit of money there...wish their website was up and running...I would shop more. I want to go on another cruise and this will definitely be on my list of places to visit.

Absolutely wonderful selection of Alaskan artists, fabric and fiber crafts. Good prices and very friendly and helpful staff. If you are a quilter or fiber artist, this is a must!
