I wish I could leave a good review but I can't. We came to Alaska to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and our stay at Homer Inn & Spa was our one "splurge" night. The room was lovely, we appreciated the hot tub on our little deck, and the location is perfect. The reason for the bad review is 2 fold--one, for the price of the room, there should be some kind of breakfast pastry or snack, not nutrigrain bars for purchase. That's just chintzy. The second and bigger reason lies in our experience with the spa. I booked what appeared to be a private thermal spa experience for 2 (and confirmed this at check in) so we could enjoy the sauna, cold plunge, etc--only to find that it wasn't private as expected, we were sharing it with 2 other people. Apparently you have to book the private spa on the phone, which wasn't marked anywhere on the website (it is now) or mentioned in the confirmation emails. When I first booked the room I called and asked to book the spa and was told "call back later and book it", which is silly, why not let me book it at the time? I then booked it online since I preferred not to have to call back. When we realized that we wouldn't have it to ourselves, the manager offered use of the massage chairs or late check out, neither of which we had the time for--I would have expected to be charged less for our spa time but of course, when the charge came through it was for the full amount. Overall, just a real sour note for what was supposed to be a luxurious treat to celebrate, at a price point that most definitely does not match what we received.

So clean and beautiful shower with a glass. You can see the room and the mountains when you are in the shower!!! So cool!

A lovely, small hotel with highly personalized services! Great location in Homer, beautiful view over the bay, very comfortable rooms. We didn't get a chance to try the spa services, but the hot-tub on our deck was incredible! Aaron was very helpful in helping us book excursions in Homer.

We really enjoyed the Aspenglow room. It was well appointed and comfortable. The only reason I rated the overall experience a 4 is because we never met anyone with the Inn except after we lost power in our room on the second night. Power was restored very quickly. I received ample text messages that explained the check in time, how to access the Inn, our room, etc. I was just surprised not to be greeted by anyone. I would, however, stay again.

A fantastic place to reset and recharge, especially if you like a variety of options for reading (proTip buy a book from a local book shop OR snag something from the Little Free Library right outside.)
Nearby activities: Easy access to all the usual Homer options, but particularly close to the Farmers Market and spit access.
Noteworthy details: In-house food options are on the very pricey end, but convenient if you don't plan on leaving the property. Otherwise there are tons of tasty food options within biking or driving distance.

The day spa experience was absolutely wonderful. It was perfect to be able to pop in for two hours and relax in all the best ways with a view! The mild sauna room, hot tub, cold plunge, rain showers, and hot steam sauna were the perfect mix! They had vit D lights, facemasks, oxygen system, and a huge variety of massage tools for a true luxury spa experience! Everything was very clean and our Spa Attendant Lacey was extremely polite and helpful making sure we kept hydrated by filling our waters so we didn't even have to get up. I'll definitely be a return customer and spend many more days here relaxing and unwinding. Such a great value and very convenient...all you need is a bathing suit! They cover the towels, shoes, robe, and drinks and lockers to lock your things safely away. Every detail has been thought out to take the stress away.

I highly recommend Homer Inn & Spa spa services. We had already booked accommodation or we would have stayed here too. Very reasonable prices! Amazing view. Clean. Friendly staff. THIS will bring me back to Homer!

We had the most wonderful time at the Homer Inn & Spa. My sister and I spent 2 nights in the Bayview Suite and could not have loved it more. The location is great, bed is so comfy, shower is amazing, the private hot tub is such a treat, and the views can’t be beat. I can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful spot with an amazing view on the deck overlooking the ocean. Staff was friendly and attentive and the rooms were beautifully decorated and cozy. Will definitely be returning!

Make sure this is where you really want to stay. If you aren't satisfied with the room, there are very limited options nor flexibility by management to change or cancel. Screen door had gaps. Flies in the room. The backyard setting is stunning. It is in a kind of residential neighborhood so nothing socially within walking distance.

Absolutely amazing spa experience! Chelsea was so attentive and kind. And the services offered were relaxing and rejuvenating! You've got to try the Balinese setting on the 4-D massage chairs! And the oxygen therapy! The sounds of the waves hitting the shore while you're relaxing in a hot tub cannot be beat!An absolute must-do in Homer!
