We stayed here for a week while visiting Homer with our two dogs. I have to say, the hotel is very accommodating for dogs. They have specific rooms allocated for pets, ones with doors that go directly outside to a pet relief area and are away from the main parking lot, and that was very much appreciated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too, much better that I could have asked for.

We could only stay one night, but we enjoyed it. Comfy beds, a great breakfast room and variety, up steps that hurt, but worth it. Fairly clean rooms just a couple misses behind toilet seat. I’ll go back!!!

It's right off the main road going into Homer to that's convenient. It's a VERY dated facility. The room I was booked I to smelled very musty, and was slightly muggy like an attic that hasn't been touched in years. You can hear people walking above if you're on the ground floor. That's to be expected at any hitel but this was way above the average sound pf foot steps. It was like there was no buffer to muffle the foot steps. You can hear whatever is going on in the parking lot. The rooms face people's backyards with trash?I checked out 10 minutes later and found an airbnb to stay in on the Spit at the same rate, all to myself without the noise, with better views! I try to stay at hotels but this one sucked.

Decent enough place, great workout space . The otter house is an attached bar that can be seen as a pro and a con. The positives are that food is close by even if you get snowed in. The cons are the rowdy bar crowd can be noisy . The sound from the patrons carries over to the hotel rooms unfortunately.

We had a good stay here. Friendly staff and a good breakfast. Had dinner at The Otter Room, service was good and the food was a.little to salty for me but it was good.

I've stayed in many rooms here in the various buildings they have, all on work trips during week days. The rooms are always nice and clean but some are quieter than others. Overall the location is nice though, the save-u-more is close by and there is a nice trail down to the beach from the road behind the hotel.

Only reason I dropped a star off is the grill food; last time we were there we paid way too much for pre-made halibut... and they covered it with strong seasoning salt after frying, which I cannot eat without gettingvery sick.. Why put msg and strong seasoning on halibut? I couldn't find anything healthy served there in evenings.Aside from that we love everything about the Bidarka Inn, including the breakfast.

Stayed here several times for business. It is a good, solid hotel with a good breakfast, working laundry machines, and clean rooms. It is older so the walls are thin and you can hear other rooms if they are noisy, and the parking lot can get full with the restaurant/bar business. However, overall I have never had a problem when I have stayed here!

The best place to stay in Homer. Easy to find, great room, and a top shelf breakfast. Cool to see photos of those "deadliest catch" stars in the bar. Will be back for sure!!

I had previously left a negative review but decided to try it one more time. My previous review must have been a rare day for the hotel. This time my room is clean and the facilities nice. The only thing that might be considered a glitch was I called and specifically requested a bottom floor room as I’m recovering from pneumonia. That message was not relayed and I ended up with a second floor walk up room. I don’t think this is anyones fault, though. If you’re looking for a nice clean reasonable place to stay I recommend Best Western.

Sheets and towels were clean. Big bathroom. Thin walls that had us hearing the neighbors yells and the person above us stomping around. Did not sleep well. But hey, the sheets were clean.
