The staff in the evening was not the nicest but that's fine, in the morning though they were both extremely nice.
Clearly the hotel and rooms is very old and could use some renovation, but it's still fine honestly! I feel the price is not justified though.
Large parking lot and free coffee/tea 24/7

Horrendous service. Got locked out of my room and had to sleep in my car because there was no one at the desk overnight. Lots of addicts staying here including the staff. Only positive was the general manager was very nice and she gave me my money back for 2 nights.
Avoid.

The room was a little small but sufficient.
It was very clean and tidy.
I would stay here again.
Nearby activities: Close to the entry to the spit and downtown Homer.

Never ever seen this kind of hotel room. This hotel is very old. No A/c or heater pesent. The person/owner in the reception is very rude. The room smells very bad. The price is also so high.
When I booked the room from hotwire, it said the hotel chooses the bed type. They gave me a queen bed. When i asked to upgrade to 2 queens, they literally asked me to pay more than double for what I booked the room for.
Hotwire should remove this room from listing.

Was literally there 30 minutes as long as it took us to find another hotel. Room smelt so bad. Screaming kid right next door at 11:30pm whole time we were there. Have never been to a hotel so bad.
Rooms: Smelt like something died in room. Awful!

Restaurant review only: Consistent and welcoming. Great view. This is a down home family type place filled with locals and old timers. Lots of solid options. A go to for a satisfying burger.

Walkability: all the places above are in walking distance, and the spit is 20 minutes walk from here.

Food and drinks: Restaurant right in the same building. Perfect price and the best food in town!

The lodge has a great location, right before hitting the spit. The rooms were clean and had great amenities: fridge, microwave, TV and great water pressure. We showed up before check in but they were very accommodating as we needed a room to get ready for a wedding that started at the regular check in time.

I just spent most of a week at Beluga Lake Lodge and was very happy I did. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and professional and the price was very reasonable. Very little to complain about.The restaurant reopened while I was there, and I can report that the food was very good, and the wait staff were friendly and professional. All in all a very satisfying experience.Terry B

Check in after a long flight . Got all our luggage to the room.Headed up to the restaurant to find out that they had rented it out. One of the reasons why we picked this hotel is so we wouldn't have to drive somewhere else to get food. So bad service for not letting their customers know the restaurant was unavailable.
