Restaurant review only: Consistent and welcoming. Great view. This is a down home family type place filled with locals and old timers. Lots of solid options. A go to for a satisfying burger.

The lodge has a great location, right before hitting the spit. The rooms were clean and had great amenities: fridge, microwave, TV and great water pressure. We showed up before check in but they were very accommodating as we needed a room to get ready for a wedding that started at the regular check in time.

I just spent most of a week at Beluga Lake Lodge and was very happy I did. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and professional and the price was very reasonable. Very little to complain about.The restaurant reopened while I was there, and I can report that the food was very good, and the wait staff were friendly and professional. All in all a very satisfying experience.Terry B

Check in after a long flight . Got all our luggage to the room.Headed up to the restaurant to find out that they had rented it out. One of the reasons why we picked this hotel is so we wouldn't have to drive somewhere else to get food. So bad service for not letting their customers know the restaurant was unavailable.

Owned and run by a very nice family, very friendly and caring. The building is worn, but comfortable and has everything you need at an extremely reasonable rate. There's a good sized closet with hangers, an iron and suitcase stand. A large sink area with a wall mounted blow dryer, complimentary soaps, lotions and shower gels and gorgeous local wildlife pictures. It was extremely quiet during my stay. I did not visit the bar/restaurant, but heard that it's very good. The location is convenient, not far from either the Homer Spit and downtown Homer.Walkability: Within walking distance to the best laundromat in Homer, a coffee Kiosk and thrift shops, among other things.

It's a bed, but the motel is nasty.Bar and food was fabulous.Hated to go to room at night. Only place I could find to stay.Fished for 3 days.

Room was clean and had everything I needed: good bedding, hot shower, refrigerator and microwave. Location was close to town and right near the spit. I stayed in several hotels in various locations on this trip to Alaska, this was certainly the best value.

Great friendly service, good view and the bar and grill was delicious ?Walkability: Short walk to plenty of shops and McDonald's as well.

Only ate at the restaurant portion of the establishment. Food was awesome!!!!! Lady helping us was very nice. Best food for the price around town!!! Tried going to aj's steakhouse but it was too packed and I'm sure like 50 bucks a steak. Got 2 steaks for the price of one at belugas!!!

Great lodge with good prices and nice clean rooms. We had 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen. Near the second longest spit in the world in Homer, Alaska. Places to eat and shop nearby including Mikey Dee's McDonald's and Subway.

I don't know why there would be bad reviews on this place, unless you're a person who just craves the high-price places for some reason. The rooms were clean, and (no matter what one review said) both bedrooms were plenty big with their own TV. Barbie was great in making our reservations and giving us options for rooms. Beth at check-in and check-out was wonderful and very friendly. Unless you want to spend another $100+ dollars and be real fancy, I highly recommend Beluga Lake Lodge. I will definitely stay there again if I have reason to overnight in Homer.

Stayed at the Beluga Lake Lodge for one night after getting off the ferry. This little hotel is a gem! Great location to access the spit, downtown Homer, and the airport. We walked along the beach for a few hours and easily walked back to the hotel. The views of the mountains and the lake are very pretty from the hotel too. Out of all the places we stayed for our 2 weeks in Alaska, this was the cleanest hotel. The bathroom was so clean and the shower pressure was perfect. The sheets were clean and soft. The floors were clean and you could comfortably walk around barefoot. The woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Will stay here again!
