We stayed at the Otters Den on an anniversary trip and it was fabulous! Lacey was great to work with and was very gracious about rescheduling when we were unable to make our first dates. We would highly recommend!

We stayed at the Canyon Cottage during our elopement and absolutely LOVED it! Lacey was the absolute best to work with. She was incredibly nice and thoughtful - from getting everything appropriately booked to going out of her way to make our stay amazing. She was super quick to respond to any questions we had and did so with the utmost kindness.The cottage was super clean, nice, and had a great kitchen. The views from the hot tub and porch were OUTSTANDING. I would give them 10 stars if I could - highly, highly recommend to anyone staying in the Homer area. You won't be disappointed! Can't wait to come back and stay again!

Our group of 10 adults stayed in the Lupine House and Aspen Cottage. The views of the bay and the mountains are stunning! We loved sitting around the huge fire pit at night and enjoyed the hot tub several times. Jen was so responsive to every extra request we had. Definitely recommend!

We rented 4 cabins including the full Lupine for our wedding, couldn’t have dreamt up a more beautiful location and accommodations!! Cabins were full of thoughtful details, well stocked and very well maintained!!! Can’t wait to get our professional photos back! Great hospitality and great for families or a romantic getaway (we used it for both)!

Beautiful, spacious Alder cabin. Quiet and comfortable with king bedroom and reclining sofa in living room, full kitchen appliances, and a front porch with private hot tub.

This was a extravagant, excellent stay I ever have had in Homer! We came for our 29th wedding anniversary!!! I throughly enjoyed this cabin- the view couldn't have been any better!!! The cabin was so cozy and clean!! I enjoyed having a private tub and being able to get in it any time I wanted- it would be nice to have a few more towels for the hot tub. I enjoyed having a fire pit!! The only drawback is it's proximity to the road, the car traffic noise was horrible, you couldn't hear yourself think- whether inside or out!!! Suggestions would be putting up a privacy fence and see if that cuts down on the car noise! I will be definitely staying here again!!!

Baycrest Lodge has really thought of every detail providing a comfortable relaxing stay! Truly the most comfortable I have ever been while staying someplace away from home. My cabin was so nice and comfortable and private! The lawn and all the landscaping was perfectly manicured. Very clean! Will definitely stay here again!

A beautiful place to stay with all the amenities. The view from the porch and hot tub was amazing, water and mountain view. It was everything we had hoped for. The staff was friendly and very helpful in meeting our needs. I would highly recommend to stay here.Nearby activities: We visited Alaska Maritime National Widlife, Bishops Beach, and Homer Spit.Food & drinks: We ate at Fat Olives and Twisted Goat both were very good. We visited Bear Creek Winery, Sweetgale Meadworks & Ciderhouse and Homer Brewing Co. which were all noteworthy. Great for a rainy day.

This is the best place to stay in Homer! I have worked and played in Alaska for over thirty years and there is no place better in the state.You can make your reservation and never have to look back on your decision!Rooms: Just incredible!Nearby activities: All of Homer is within five minutes.Safety: What crime? I travel more than most and as such, I stay in a lot of hotels, AirBnbs and such.Baycrest has a number of different options and the Augustine, the one I’m reviewing, is a small efficiency cabin. It was perfect for my needs and frankly, one of the finest cabins I’ve ever stayed in.The location itself is absolutely breathtaking; nestled on the cliffs of the Kachemak Bay, the setting alone deserves an award but enough about that, there’s plenty of places that have just a view. This place is more than a pretty view. The Augustine has private parking, a fire pit, a natural gas Weber grill and a hot tub on the porch.I used the hot tub every day I stayed here. It maintained temperature and was clean. 5/5I never used the fire pit as it was May when I stayed and din’t get dark until well after 10pm. Fire pit was tidy and well stocked with wood 5/5The Augustine cabin was perfectly appointed. It had a small stocked kitchen with refrigerated condiments and a great assortment of spices. The kitchen was fully stocked with a beautiful gas stove/oven, a full size fridge with ice maker and stainless steel farmer’s sink. The bed was a memory foam king size and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was small but exactly what you need with a walk in shower, toilet and sink. The room is heated with a natural gas fireplace which is great for the ambiance 5/5My interactions with the staff were always courteous and helpful. They were attentive to my needs.I will definitely return here again. Thanks for everything!

This is such a wonderful location and facility. I have now stayed here twice - once for work and once on a family trip. Both were great value for the amenities and the rooms.I have to emphasized how nice the kitchens are. They are the most well stocked kitchens I have ever seen in a vacation rental. It makes you feel like you are in your own kitchen (or in a nicer one).

My daughter and I stayed at the Aspen cabin for a mother/daughter overnight trip. I wasn't sure how much fun it would be with winter weather, but it was fantastic. We sat in the hot tub with snow falling on us and were perfectly warm while we watched eagles soar overhead. We watched a movie on the large TV, put together a puzzle, and baked cookies from dough balls we brought with us. We got some take out pizza from Fat Olives. We went walking on Bishop's Beach, and visited local shops.The Aspen was like a very fancy cabin experience. Very clean, very well appointed, everything you could possibly need to have a great stay. We would love to come back again with the whole family.

I booked Augustine for our 18th Anniversary. I had many friends tell me that Augustine was worth it as it is set apart from the rest of the cabins, making it especially private. I was a little nervous due to the proximity to the highway. It was a NON issue! I was impressed with the sound proofing inside the cabin. I was thrilled!! I felt like we were in our own little world. The view was spectacular! We watched the sunset from the hot tub. (Note: You can hear road noise from hot tub, but the owners have done a phenomenal job hiding the hot tub and we could not see the road.) We had a small issue during our stay and it was fixed promptly with much apology from the lovely owner. We laid around all day, reading, napping, soaking and just sitting in peace and quiet. Because there was a full kitchen we cooked all our own foods and took the opportunity to do nothing and go no where. It was what this mom of 5 boys needed. We will go back! Augustine was absolutely perfect.Side note: Because Augustine is right on the Highway I was a little nervous about our vehicle and strangers snooping around. Upon arrival there was a note that let us know the premises is monitored by cameras for our safety. I felt like that was going above and beyond.

Came for our 4 year anniversary and absolutely love the place. Super comfortable and quite, the hot tub was great for some much needed relaxation and the view! Definitely recommend it.
