“Went in to try and get ported out from AT&T and they jumped right on it. Knew exactly what i needed and how to get me through it. While att literally told me to call a support line. When att left me stranded 300+ miles away from home on a work trip with no way to contact my boss, the verizon in Fairbanks alaska went out of their way to make sure i had something to stay in contact! I cannot express how grateful i am they were so willing to help me! I would be drowning without their help. I wish i remembered the gentleman's name that went above and beyond for me while i was a hot crying mess in store. Verizon has scored a life long customer if they keep up their excellent customer service. So happy they didnt turn me away to a phone line out of country to get me through it. I will never forget all of their help??? Thank you Fairbanks Verizon at 427 Merhar Ave # 100, Fairbanks, AK 99701!!”

“I have been using this service for several years now and am generally happy with them. It was a great relief when I was able to switch over from ACS abysmal DSL and terrible customer service. If you have line of site to any of Mountain Beams antennas I recommend them. My only complaint thus far with Mountain Beam is that if your antenna gets out of adjustment due to the antenna being jostled or something like brush or a tree top obscures the signal the only way you'll know about it is if you notice your bill going up as they will charge you if your signal gets degraded for whatever reason. And it's up to you to figure out how to access and adjust the antenna. I'm pretty Tech savvy and it's been a bit of a learning curve and Mountain Beam will not come do it for you and they will not proactively inform you that there's a problem with your signal. so be aware and monitor your bill. But all in all I'm happy to have them.”

“The technician, Jason, who showed up for our service took the time to answer all of our questions. He did an outstanding job. It's a shame that Dish call center doesn't comprehend that Alaska doesn't get all of the same transponders as the lower 48. Thanks Jason!”
