This location seems to be chronically understaffed and as a result it’s impossible to get through on the phone to pharmacy, even when I receive a message directly telling me to call them. I’ve waited on hold on the phone on several different occasions for upwards of 30-40 minutes, only to have the call disconnected. And when I go in to see them in person, there are issues/logistics that I’m told I should have called ahead about, since my medication(s) aren’t ready. It’s a frustrating process and I’d recommend choosing a different pharmacy to handle your prescriptions if you can.

Recently moved back to Alaska and thought this to be the most convenient location for me to fill prescriptions based on where I live and my insurance being accepted. On multiple occasions, I haven't had a good experience. I understand that some locations may have limited staff, but every time I've come in to pick up a prescription it seems as though they're not busy at all, yet it took significantly longer to fill my prescription versus any other pharmacy I've been to, in or out of the state (days longer.) Staff overall has been decent except for one pharmacist that seemed annoyed when I came in person to check the status of my prescription and said my doctor "prescribed the wrong dosage," which was not the case. Ultimately I've decided to change pharmacies and I suggest if you're looking for prompt service overall, consider other options if possible.

Do not get film developed here!!!!! They lost my film and I called them every week for information/ questions and got no help. After weeks of calling I eventually got a helpful girl on the line who actually called fujifilm for me, but Fuji film gets rid of film after 45 days. Big bummer about losing film

Place was a total joke cashier was rude to my wife and I. Wouldn’t give me my receipt so I decided to return all my stuff because they were absolutely disgusting. So even though i just went through and bought everything they wouldn’t give me my money back and ended up giving me store credit instead and as I started to leave they started to laugh and mock me. Worst Walgreens in this town go elsewhere.

Don’t use this pharmacy. They will fill your prescription rapidly, but to pick it up you will need to stand in a line for 30 minutes… every single time.

Waited over one hour in line to be told prescription wasn’t ready, waited again and got back in line a second time so now two hours in and pharmacy only then tells me they can’t fill the prescription. So many other customers also arriving to unfulfilled prescriptions, no phones calls answered when you try to call and check in advance. Terrible service.

This place is a nightmare. Consistently does not have medications or doesn’t fill them. Can never get two prescriptions at once because they are so inconsistent. Have to send my prescription to another pharmacy most of the time. My prescription says it’s ready today and when you show up no one will serve you in the drive thru for ten minutes. Waited inside for 15 minutes as every pharmacist/tech ignored the growing line to be told that their fridge went out overnight so the prescription is unavailable.

If I could give a minus star I would, they have the worst service ever. Always have attitude, telling me something is wrong with my medications or it's not on file when I have already been picking up the same medications from there. They don't even try to give good service, it's like they don't even love their job. Idk if they don't get paid well or they get treated poorly but something needs to change.

Worst walgreens in anchorage . Don’t do your curbside pick up here you will regret it . I have bad experience twice already. They take FOREVER to bring your order even they are not busy and doing anything. Looks like people who work here don’t like their job and lazy . I do a survery twice but looks like the management not doing anything to improve their overall service . ????

This is probably the worst Walgreens pharmacy I’ve had to experience. The pharmacy intern, I believe his name is Trevor but I’m not sure, he is a talker gentlemen with curly brown hair, blue eyes and a gross attitude.Anyway, this intern decided that he could tell me to leave my current psychologist of over 20 years because he said so, and he would like to confirm my prescriptions were real.Mind you, they are called in by my physician every 6 months. I have also been on the same 3 medications since moving here, but overall on the same ones for over 15 years.When they decided to tell me I needed to switch my doctor, and he didn’t believe my prescriptions were real, the short “supervisor” not only raised his voice, but had no response to what I was saying.Having a legitimate prescription that is refilled regularly by a licensed and top rated physician must be fake because he’s out of state. Prior to moving I called that particular Walgreens and my physician to make sure I could still keep him. It would have been a determining factor in whether I moved if I needed to stop seeing my doctor.These staff members are rude, condescending, provide no actual information and must really hate their jobs. I hate writing negative reviews like this and didn’t the first time I had a weird altercation with them. But this second time was INSANE. The shorter gentlemen with olive toned skin who acted like it was his first day on the job and the intern who sincerely believed he had the right to tell a customer that they had to change their doctor really need to be re trained. I am working on filing official complaints with corporate and the store because of how they acted.This pharmacy used to be slow but somewhat pleasant when the other staff was there.Seriously, I was flabbergasted by the intern’s audacity at saying “I told you to get a new doctor.”Crazyyyyy. I would recommend going to a different pharmacy altogether.
