Nice selection of gear to support the athletics and school spirit.

This school only exists to take lower class and poor people's money. They purposely did not complete my federal student loan in order to be able to keep my dividend from my family and I. They purposely teach different from what's on the exams in order to fail you out and take your money.

I am very unhappy with the service of the UAA bookstore to get textbooks. Before they moved, it was still obnoxious but at least you could go in and get whatever textbooks they had and then wait on the ones they didn't have in stock. Now you have to order the books online, and you get ZERO updates or any books they have in stock. My husband placed his order for textbooks on 12/31/19 and selected his textbooks be shipped as he was going to be out of state. Well, he got back so we were trying to see if he could pick up his books instead. I called and left 2 voicemails with both our numbers, he emailed them, and got ZERO response. On 1/21/20 he got an email saying his books were being shipped. This was 22 days after he placed his order with no contact, no updates, and no responses from calls, voice mails and email. I understand being busy, but that is just ridiculous! If he didn't have to order his books through the bookstore (VA benefits) we certainly wouldn't!

The campus book store is fine. The best prices in Dr. Pepper you'll find in the entire university.

Way overpriced. Do not buy your books from the bookstore. The staff is very friendly and the facility is nice but they charge way too much for books the only thing you should get from here is Seawolf apparel

Conveniently located in campus for your books and university merchandise, as well as last minute supplies. The Drowsy Wolf has great coffee!

The UNIVERSITY has recently made the asinine decision to move to bookstore out of the heart of the campus in the student center to the edge making it virtually inaccessible. They permanently closed the the extremely popular coffee shop that was in the book store. Basically the book store is ruined now. Book store employees, students and patrons alike are very upset with administratrations failure to listen to the many concerns with the move. The bookstore sucks now.

Overpriced but are good with returns and will buy your books back sometimes. I heard the employees aren't allowed to study when it's slow. I think they should be able to read a book when they aren't helping people like most UAA jobs.

Called looking for a course-required textbook that they didn't have before the beginning of class. They said they'd call me back and never did. Not open on the weekends, have courses four nights per week- meet me in the middle somewhere cause I can't keep coming in after work looking for a book. Poor customer service and poorer inventory at least this semester.

I wondered around in here looking for my college books with my friends and no one bugged us, we didn't want help so we didn't ask. After we found them we were able to just sit in the coffee area even though the coffee shop itself was closed (all one room.) The lighting was nice and the chairs were comfy.

I have worked here for quite a while and I know that the books are expensive and the lines can get long but we're trying our best. A lot of the main complaints (too expensive, books not available earlier, books out of stock, not holding them long enough, etc;) are completely out of our control. There are only a handful of people trained to do returns and we aren't ignoring you I promise, we're just waiting for the person that can help you, or we're busy helping another customer. We have nothing to do with the parking permits, and most of the things you don't like bother us too because guess what, we're all students too. For a small non-profit store that receives no funding from the university I think we do pretty good. Also the coffee stand is definitely worth checking out. A lot of the problems we have are caused by miscommunication between us, the professors, and the textbook distributors. So please be patient and know that we're doing our best to make sure you get what you need.

I went here for a few books and had trouble finding what I need. A lot of the shelves were a little empty and one of the girls working there was just standing around talking to her friend and giggling over something on the phone of the girl that was supposed to be working. Multiple people tried to catch her attention, even the friend pointed her out, but she went "no, they're fine". After she was done talking she walked past everyone and went to hang out behind the counter while everyone else worked. Eventually I got what I needed but the girl that rang me out said they don't allow rentals on any of the books anymore and told me I had to buy them. I bought them while noting that at least I can sell them back but she told me they don't buy books back anymore. I tried to contact someone afterwards but they hung up on me. I ended up switching classes and took two of the books back, since they're within the return policy. There was a long line at the counter and everyone was ignoring them.
