I spent 20 minutes this afternoon at the store trying to buy 3 items. I couldn't get any help. I left in disgust. There were employees on their phones, talking to each other, stocking shelves, more employees than customers. Maybe they don't like women. Hard to say. I have shopped at SBS since 1982; this is the second bad experience that I have had this month.

The 5 star reviews here are fake posted by this company to keep their rating up..Lois drive gallery and mill work supply is a bunch of people sitting around on their phones, that don’t even greet you! Go ahead Ed Waite walk through your own doors in disguise and see how it feels. It feels like a mistake to be there immediately.It took me 3 days just to find out the price of a single door. No joke.This place is outdated, Its not the customers job to teach your sales staff how to call people back and have some integrity as a representative for your business,you need to retrain or rehire , I’m going to LOWES, for the same product with a price tag on it for 3x less.

You’re better off using one of the big box stores. Purchased a fan hood from SBS. Installers determined the control board was defective. Notified the salesperson who was happy to get a warranty claim started - two months ago. After regular requests for updates, I learn that he didn’t bother to check if the claim was actually submitted.Another two weeks go by. I ask for an update to learn he’s now out of the office until mid-September. I reach out to the store manager who says he’s “making phone calls.” Another week goes by. I ask for an update. And nothing…They will gladly take your money. But good luck getting anything resembling customer service when something goes awry.I used to think highly of the company. Not anymore and am posting this as a warning to others.

SBS destroys all other building stores by haveing quality materials at a comparable price to any of the Box stores, The gentleman behind the contractor counter can help you find anything you're looking for, if it seems to be busy there try the customer service counter they're just as good if nothing else the paint counter is always available as well. When I have the need or Spenards is in the route and I need to kill time or buy tools, Sbs is always my choice.
