So many reasons why we rated this business 5 stars, but primarily the sales professional who worked with us, Taggert. Taggert was so very helpful, professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and still had time to be friendly with just a touch of humor, truly the total package! Of course I do need to add that the store was absolutely immaculate and each bed was displayed beautifully. There was a huge selection to choose from and try, and the accessories were lovely also. We've owned Sleep Number beds for the last 10 years and could not be happier with them, so looking forward to receiving the one we just bought on Friday!

The customer service we received from Taggard in Anchorage, AK has been wonderful. He is very professional, knowledgeable, kind and patience even when I couldn’t decide what I wanted. We love our Sleep Number beds, we have two. One in our master bedroom and one in our guest bedroom. We will never go back to a regular mattress/box spring again. We purchased our first one and love fell in love with it from day one. A couple of years later the smart Sleep Number beds came out. So we drove to Anchorage (6.5 hour drive) and purchased a flex king size, full split smart bed. Since then we have purchased an upholstered headboard, sideboards and footboard along with Sleep Number pillows and sheets.
I highly recommend Sleep Number and Taggard in Anchorage. We are so glad that we switched to Sleep Number we will never go back to a regular bed.

Love our bed, got a reasonable priced product that met our needs. Was able to adjust my side and firmness and it’s still holding up to this day. Thank you La for working with us on financing also!

Lala and Taggert are amazing and they do not push you to buy a bed they just explain what the differences are. Expensive beds but worth it.

My wife and I visited your store on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 and purchased the Split King P6 Smart Bed. A very nice and professional gentleman name Taggert Fairbanks assisted us with a demonstration and provided the knowledge we needed in our decision to make our purchase. Being the lone salesperson in the store, he was very patient and professional while assisting us and other customers. Thank you Taggert for a great shopping experience.

Sleep number has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We tried to purchase a headboard. They rescheduled delivery a couple times with no explanation for the delay. When they finally delivered, the headboard wasn’t compatible with our adjustable frame. We told the salesman this before we bought that it wasn’t for a Sleep Number frame. He assured us it would work. Sleep Number has refused so far to accept a return and reimburse us our purchase amount. Do not buy from this company.

4 months waiting for my delivery while confirming my delivery date and time multiple times. After clearing out my room and taking off work for delivery and setup, I get a text changing my date and time to add another week because a technician did not have the right credentials to enter a military base. I stated numerous times I lived on a base prior to purchasing and confirmed address, date, and time 2 days ago and still Sleep Number did not schedule someone to deliver as agreed. Instead they wait to the last possible minute to go oops can’t do today but if you don’t accept our new delayed date and time it will be even further out. I’d rather just cancel my order.
Part 2:
I did contact customer service and was told it is 16 Oct or mid December for delivery. I was informed there was no way to redirect the truck for a redelivery. I informed customer service a redelivery infers an attempt was made to deliver which none had. The “delay” text came 5 hours prior to my delivery time so no attempt had been made, it is as though the delivery driver saw my address in his GPS and said “nope” and cancelled my delivery with some credentials nonsense because no one showed up to produce documents.

Ordered a top-of-the-line I-10 bed and was given a delivery date about six weeks out. This is Alaska so we figured this was an average wait time.Finally, after receiving several texts and emails making sure we were ready right up to bedtime the night before, the delivery day finally arrived.We gave away our existing mattress to a grateful friend at the last second to make room.We were given a two hour window in which they would deliver the bed. Twenty minutes into the two hour window I get a call saying that the delivery had to be rescheduled due to a 'logistical error.' The new delivery date was a full month away.Now here I am, without a bed, and I have no choice but to cancel the order, get my money back, and buy a standard mattress. I'm in a no-win situation. Unreliablility, lack of communication in a timely manner, and no sympathy for the situation they put me in, means I will not do business with this company again and will warn off anyone I know who is looking to purchase a bed.

The staff was friendly.I’ve contacted customer service about this, but I figure I’d put this on a public forum. Regarding the wonderful winter fleece sheets, this company sells.. they really should sell standard size or any size pillowcase separately from the sheets. For example, I have a king size bed but I do not use king size pillows. Quite frankly, I don’t know who the heck can sleep on a king size pillow, but good for you. I Think they should have an option to sell standard pillowcases with king sheets

My wife and I were ordering online for a new bed for our home, while going through the ordering process we received a call from Sleep Number in Anchorage asking if we would like some help because online ordering can be problematic for remote towns in Alaska. Hands down the best thing I did was accept the offer of help. They took us through everything and was able to help with shipping and provide information I would not have thought to ask. Very professional and well received.
