Salesman (of which I regretfully forget his name) was awesome. Not pressuring at all and very willing to get me into a set of safety toe shoes that would fit me and my work scope. Their foot scanner system is very cool and worked perfectly to suggest what would be best for my feet when standing as well as walking. Will definitely be back when time for a new pair along with actual work boots. -Montana

Pete sold me my first red wing boot a few years ago (Iron Rangers), then later my Moc Toes, and for work I wear King Toes. He also fitted my wife’s Moc Toes as well. True experts and I completely trust their advice. I’ve tried many other brands for work boots and red wing has been the best and most comfortable boots I’ve ever had.

I had returned to the store to purchase a pair of Red Wing boots and found they were in stock and as its a popular brand was happy. Mr. Pete was and continues to be the consumate shoe expert. He consulted his computer and informed me that my size was 11.5 and brought out an 11 also. I walked out with the 11.5 boots and remembered from my past the shoe folks put them on your feet! I returned a couple hours later as the left boot had a hot spot and maybe another pair same size. He did not have another pair my size, offerred to order immediately but I asked for an insert. Again, Mr. Pete was on top his game and counseled me on what to do in the next 48 hours, wear them inside he said. I did and he made me feel secure knowing I was working with a REAL Professional!!! I walked into the store with the intent of just trying on a pair of Redwing Heritage in 8"The gentleman there was so friendly, knowledgeable, and a downright customer service master. In minutes, I was on a platform getting a digital model of my foot while he explained the process. (My ankle has had many surgeries on, by the way), and he brought both the size I THOUGHT I wore and then his recommendation and why, based on the digital model. He was spot on, of course. From start to finish, the saleman at the Benson Rd Location in Anchorage was simply incredible. I was never so happy to drop my hard earned money down as I was today. I walked out with a smile, wearing my new boots out. Me happy I had spent money? It's a rare event indeed.A+ from Chris Reinwald of Willow, Alaska

Excellent experience. From the moment we walked in to when we left, we were treated very well and the owner answered all our questions, and had me try on several boots. Super knowledgeable and you can tell he believes in the brand.
