“After calling six different places, I was referred to Lake Otis Medical Supply in an attempt to figure out a way to get my wife up our stairs (after knee surgery). Joe wasn't sure their solutions would work, so he drove to our home to confirm. Although the proposed options wouldn't work, Joe was professional, honest and courteous in almost immediately telling me so. I have to tip my hat to Joe's professionalism and taking time out of his day to drive all the way to our home. FIVE STARS!”

“The only local pharmacy that curtails to custom made necessary medications, my Medicaid insurance doesn't cover of course but necessary to survive non the less, that work for my health without the bonding agents I am highly and severely allergic to and or highly sensitive to in my GI track with out with I would suffer MORE so thank you Bernie's Pharmacy for your service in my ability to suffer a little less.”

“Don't be like me and accidentally review the wrong place (meant to give bad ratings to Walgreens) and give bad ratings. The pharmacist here at the Target CVS was amazing and so patient with my kiddos and me getting our flu shot. Prior to going to CVS we went to walgreens and the service was AWFUL. I came here and it was great. He didn't have to take a walk in, let alone a kiddo who wasn't having it, but he did with ease. Thank you.”

“went for a refill today. 3/1 @ 6:30pm. was told by her (there were 2 people including her) to wait while they get it ready. they proceed to help about 3 other people and 1 specificly “she’s the last person, we’re just opening for her” by the other girl to people who just came after 7pm mark. then they proceed to give her her refill. the girl who TOLD us to wait, proceeds to close and disappear. i watch her close but didn’t say anything to her because she TOLD US to wait so i think okay, we’re waiting like you TOLD us to wait so ur gonna close and then get us our refill cause u CLEARLY, SEE us sitting on the bench, WAITING. after 15 minutes i think, oookay, she’s gone. is she coming back to give us our refill LIKE SHE TOLD US TO? i didn’t say anything cause she SEES us. she KNOWS we’re still there. she could’ve told us it’s late and we’ll have to do it tomorrow. we waited 40 minutes. just for her to disappear. we asked a random associate but she couldn’t do anything cause both the pharmacy girl was gone. we went to customer service and they couldn’t do anything because the pharmacy is a third party. i’m not happy that i was told to wait, 40 minutes for her to disappear after helping “the last customer” with her refill THAT TOOK HER MINUTES to do while she SEES us. like ?????????? what was the point of telling us to wait if u didn’t want to help us???edit: came back 3/2 @ 6pm and the pharmacist (lead - Madelin!) was there today. she did say she saw our review, understood us, that we were a valued customer, and will talk to the person who did that to us. i greatly appreciated being understood! i was NOT happy yesterday! thanks for understanding! the people today were great.”

“Costco is usually always a win yet prices need to be better especially for fuel Cleanliness and staff seem to need a boost morale seems to be lacking Food prices should be far better than other places Especially for cost of membership annually Too much stock can cause a stuffy environment”

“As a physician I sometimes have to call the pharmacy directly to straighten things out. This is the only pharmacy, since I have been in Anchorage, that has picked up the phone without a lengthy wait and which the person that answered was knowledgeable and didn't leave me hanging for 10 minutes( which is not unusual even for a physician) To top it off, I was able to speak with Joey the pharmacist(whom I can't thank enough). He was able to provide me with the information, send me a fax, and help me resolve a suffering patient's problem within a matter of minutes so I could see my next patient on time. A truly 5 star experience!!

I think it is sometimes difficult to appreciate that the time reviewing a chart and seeing the patient is not all that happens. Sometimes there is a lengthy process that can happen after the fact. Having other providers that understand the need to be timely and courteous makes it all worthwhile. Thank you!”

“Best pharmacy I have ever been to, and I am old so I have been to many! Everyone is knowledgeable and responsive. My prescription requests get complicated once a year when I leave the country for six months, and they all (especially Kyle) always work through the complications to a successful conclusion. Thank you, Carrs Huffman Pharmacy!”

“Would like thank Reed and the techs for being patient and helpful during the large influx of business, due to CVS closing many shops in Anchorage. Thanks guys! 08/28/2024.”

“The single best pharmacy in Anchorage. Staff and pharmacists are friendly and efficient. Grocery store is also always very well staffed. Clientele are a mixed bag for sure, but good people tend to congregate in good places, and this pharmacy is a good place.”

“This Fred Meyer location is always busy. The employees work very hard to keep it well-organized, stocked, and very clean! The fresh food area where the deli, bakery, produce, and grab-and-go food is, is very clean and everything is well-maintained!”

“In a real pinch, this pharmacy came through for me in a big way! After credena pharmacy decided to close on Saturdays, suddenly and without notice, and dropped the ball for auto-fill in a big way, I was left with half a dozen scripts that were completely empty for an entire weekend! I was able to contact my doctor for a partial refill of the most vital ones and they called in to Carrs, which was apparently open all weekend... Elizabeth was so incredibly kind and diligent. A single medication was going to cost me $242 for just three days supply but she worked some magic and I ended up with zero copay. I don't expect that to happen every time, but it was clear that she is prepared to go above and beyond as much as possible to provide care to patients.Needless to say, I'm in the market for a new pharmacy and Carrs is on my list.”

“I have received my prescriptions for 17 years at this pharmacy. They provide knowledgeable service providers which is invaluable information to make sure I am safe in advising me. One time I was informed a possible interaction of my medications that inevitably did happen. I appreciate the for warning otherwise the outcome could have been disastrous. I can go all over the West Coast and have my prescriptions available through the multiple chains, Albertsons, Vons, Safeway, I love my Carrs!”

“Rodger is great! He’s always courteous and helpful. The other pharmacists and assistants have been great also. You can tell they care about you and the medications they dispense. They always ask questions to make sure you know what you are taking. I’ve used many pharmacies in this town over the years but have only used this one for the last 10!”

“Very friendly and helpful. They will call your provider if needed and prescriptions are filled in a timely manner. Tried other pharmacies and this one has no problems/delays in three years.”

“The staff is very helpful. Prices are comparable to other store prices. Large variety of products. Love the electric carts when needed, now have I believe 8 or 9. Friendly people.”

“they always have my prescriptions ready on time and are very, very good about getting them filled quickly when I call them in, especially if I'm already at Target. It's typically the same for few folks there every time, and they have never been anything but kind and professional, always taking the extra time to answer questions and explain any new medications. The only thing I would possibly list as a con isn't an issue with this specific cvs, but cvs in general- at times the phone tree makes it a little more difficult than necessary to get a hold of somebody. Thankfully it seems like they've fixed this recently, so im happy to give five stars”

“Please note that they close for lunch from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM.The staff members are consistently pleasant and respectful.I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 due to challenges with reaching them over the phone. And if you need a prescription filled ASAP, you gotta show up in person to ask if they got it; otherwise, it might take a while. But I have to give a shout out to the pharmacist who helped me out in an urgent situation. She was open to making accommodations.Overall, the experience was good, and with a little improvement in phone communication, this place could be a 5-star pharmacy.”

“The employees at the Fred Meyer Pharmacy are excellent! I gave the pharmacy technician my prescription, but he informed me they didn't have the item. He called Walgreens, Carrs, and then finally the Fred Meyers on Muldoon to verify the drug was in stock. I felt like the pharmacy technician went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. I highly suggest this Fred Meyer Pharmacy. If this review was helpful please click the Like button.”

“I have had nothing but positive experiences with the pharmacy, the staff, and the organization. I do not think that anyone realizes how military medicine works and there is a misconception that you are going to get what you want exactly when you need it. I feel very fortunate to be able to utilize this organization for my healthcare needs.”

“At a somewhat busy intersection, but if you can transfer your drugs here you won't have to wait in line as I have experienced at other places, like Frys and CVS And my prescriptions new or old are always filled on time. The no waiting and friendly staff make shopping here enjoyable.”

“Re-paste from website feedback:
Love those guys at East Northern lights, but i see bums. How tf does it take two hours for a simple poster to be printed and do none know how to use that machine as if you need a full on course to be certified???

Same thing happened twice and its funny how I figured if I call them to get off their asses from the first time around that they would... And it did.

Credit to their younger competent employees though.
Just a bad experience at the end of the day. Will probably happen again though. That's the point of this.”

“I was at the pharmacy on debarr in anchorage alaska today and had outstanding service. The pharmacy closed at 1:30 pm for lunch today and I showed up 5 minutes past that time. I needed a copy of my vaccination records. The pharmacy technician Sabrina was extremely kinda and willing to help me. I used to be a pharmacy technician for Walgreens so I understand how annoying it could be when a patient shows up and you’re trying to go to lunch. Her kindness and willingness to help me made my day. I felt bad, because pharmacy can be a stressful job and the employees are on there feet all day. They deserve a full lunch break. Thank you Sabrina for helping me. You deserve to be recognized!”

“I love my neighborhood Walgreens. They are always super friendly and helpful. Even though they are all tired and working their butts off. My husband and I absolutely love the pharmacist "Nate" he's awesome. Always sooo helpful. Answers any questions I have even if he's slammed. It feels good to walk in and they are already getting my order ready. Highly highly recommend this location! Thank you for everything you do guys. All of you!”
