I brought my tiny 2 pound puppy in because I cannot find a harness that will fit him nor one he's willing to wear. The lady working helped get him fitted and let him try on multiple options in the store. They have great quality products in here and I love supporting a local business.

Daisy was very professional and got everything together nicely; this was her first time hosting a birthday. She offered many samples for the dogs to try and they were all a hit. I had 8-10 dogs attending throughout the time of my booking as well as some walk-ins whose parents were delighted at the idea of a doggie bday party. It was sometimes joyous chaos but overall a wonderful time for fur babies and humans alike. There is an outside area where the gang went to let off some energy before returning inside to continue to play. The doggie pizza looked good enough to eat and the bday cake was lovely. Daisy really made my bday girl feel special and everything she brought out was quality. I and several of my friends purchased some of her homemade treats that are all made fresh. A guy came in to refill his cooked, frozen dog meals and he said he highly recommends it and is so glad that there is a local resource. He got me thinking about supplementing my dog's kibble with organ meats. I am very happy with my experience and will gladly have another celebration at Drool Central. Do your fur babies a favor and take them by to try the delicious and wholesome goodies!

The animals were in clean comfortable housing. And the Bettas seemed SO happy. They had little bubblers for each one and they looked so healthy. Prices were affordable as well, I was able to get more than I expected. I will be coming to Anchorage specifically for Pet Zoo. A 3 hour drive is worth it for these folks. 10/10

I've paid too much several times for grooming that was less than acceptable. I had all but given up and decided to do my own grooming until a friend recommended this place and Brandon. 7801 Schoon St E, AnchorageA little backstory: I’ve been to two or three different groomers and my pup (Appa) never came back happy or excited. He either came back scared or just acted weird. He also came back and didn’t want anyone to touch his front paw. As a dog owner I’d love for my dog to go to the groomers and feel safe. I understand every dog is different as well.We came to Lauren back during the summer, so we’ve almost been coming to her for a year and let me tell you Appa LOVES coming here and has no hesitation running to Lauren. She also has helped Appa with the anxiety that he has with anyone touching his front paw. I will forever be grateful that she has the patience, understanding and care for the dogs she grooms!She does such an amazing job with trimming his nails, because that was also another area he did not like anyone to do. I’ve attempted myself and could never do them. The other groomers could never do his nails as well.I attached two pictures of Appa’s grooming. The first one was from today after his grooming and the second is from about 8-9 weeks from his previous groom.I can’t thank Lauren enough for grooming Appa! Highly recommend and will be coming back again and again :)

It’s hard moving across the country and having to find all new everything’s but we loved the responsiveness and ease of communication and scheduling here to get Thor in as a new client. Prices were in the same ballpark as what we have been paying for a standard poodle and we loved that we could get a heads up that he was almost done and she did an AMAZING job ❤️ will be back!

No scrapes, smooth cut, and listened to the specifics I wanted done for him. I was nervous taking my cat to a new spot and they're a little more expensive than other places but I was very happy with the groomer and end result. He is also much happier now too! I just wish they had a legit website

12531 Old Seward Hwy, AnchorageMy puppy had ingested a pill that had been dropped on the floor. My (used to be) regular veterinary hospital was too busy to try to save my puppy. THEY sent me to another vet that was also too busy to try to save my puppy. Now, keep in mind that the entire time, the clock is ticking down on my puppy. They MUST be treated within an hour. The second place sent me to Alpine. I walked in, and they scooped her up and treated her, no delay. I have since had my records transferred to Alpine and have already used them for one of our other dogs. I am sad to leave my other veterinary, but most of the vets are in the process of retiring, and I'm not very impressed with the one left. But I'm pretty sure I'm going to be very happy with my new doggie doctors!

3710 Woodland Dr, AnchoragePlease don't listen to all of the negative reviews. I have had nothing but incredible service and care for all of the animals I have brought here. Customer service has always been very helpful and polite when I call. I had to reschedule at the last minute and it was taken care of quickly and professionally. The process to request a spay can seem cumbersome but the person that answered when I called the first time walked me through the process happily. The fact that it is about 5 times less money to have a dog spayed/neutered here helps as well.

She is so excited to go hang out with her friends whenever I drop her off, and I know she is safe and supervised playing with dogs her own size. 535 E 6th Ave, AnchorageLove this place—Arfie’s deserves a 5 star google rating! My adopted malamute mix Ollie has separation anxiety and he loves going to Arfie’s, and they love having him. I often pick him up close to closing and never get any pushback. The business is ran by very professional and kind gentlemen in a cute and convenient location, and their pricing is amazing. (The 1 star reviews doesn’t even make sense…its pride month and they do have pride gear on their property, they’re located next to a bar that also flies a pride flag. I’m almost positive the people giving Arfie’s a one star review had the wrong business). Happy pride month guys!

1601 E 84th Ave #107, AnchorageArctic Tails is Lexe’s new puppy play place. She is so excited to go on her days she literally dumps me at the door! When Lexe was attacked (in our neighborhood) she took a few days off and when I took her back to AT I explained what had happened. Later that day they called to say Lexe was doing just fine. They asked if I wanted them to clean her ear which had been ripped in the attack. We had done some but I sure. They spent 2 hours carefully cleaning her up and cutting her hair near the rip. I can’t thank them enough. Lexe is a 9 lb. Papillion that loves Arctic Tails. I highly recommend AT and all their staff.
