I don't know if I can articulate why but...to me...this is the inferior Costco in town. Like the other, it is always dreadfully crowded and the parking lot is hell on earth. I feel like the selection here isn't as exhaustive, but I can't prove it. The diamond location wins because the parking lot is slightly bigger and it's MUCH easier to navigate into and out of it. It's also close to Anchorage Brewing Company, so there's that.

Made an appointment for 4pm. Got there at 350 to drop off keys and has to wait 20 minutes in line to do so. Was told it would be done between 5-530. Got back to Costco at 520 and it hadn’t been started yet. People without appointments were in and out in 45 minutes. Bottom line, the word “appointment” is foreign to Costco tire staff. They just grab whatever keys are on the table. Your best bet is to drop off and pick up at the end of the day. Or go somewhere that’s know what “appointment” means.

Called to see if they had tires available before making the long trip and they said yes, they had 12. Show up, and they didn't have any available. Appreciate the long drive for nothing.

Great staff and overall good experience however a bit overpriced, specially for being Costco I was expecting prices to be more affordable.

Ordered four winter tires from Costco and scheduled an appointment to get them put on. Arrived to my appointment and they didn't even pull the car in until over an hour after my appointment time. 15 minutes after they pulled the car in I got a call from Michael Rivera the shop supervisor. He rudely told me that they couldn't get the tires off of my car and that I'd have to go somewhere else because he was not going to break his tools getting the tires off my car. I left and went straight to the auto hobby shop on JBER and within 5 minutes or less I had the tires off the car. Not sure how Michael has a job at a tire center if he's so incompetent that he can't take tires off a car and then is rude to customers because of his inability to do so.

One employee was rude to the customers. Called to reschedule my appointment, told me to drop off my vehicle the next morning once they open and left it the whole day came back closing time and told me that my vehicle isn’t done. And this employee was really rude about it. Next time won’t be coming back to this shop!

I have not had a bad experience with COSTCO until now............... I purchased 4 new tires and was told that they would be at this facility by the end of the day. Got a voice mail from them the same day letting me know that the tires were here. I called the number to schedule an appointment multiple times over a 24 hour period, even got the pickup and click one of the times. I went in to schedule the appointment and was told it would be 2 weeks to get my tires changed over. Then was told that I had 7 days to pick up my tires from their facility or they will be sent back. I asked why the hell would you bring my tires to your warehouse and then tell me to pick them up? Sometimes it pays to pay a little more.

kind, prompt and complete service. even went above and beyond by trying to clean rust off of my wheel. Ordering online was pretty seemless too. Only criticism I have is in relation to the store itself which is that there's not really a good waiting area for waiting on tires after shopping. If you're shopping while waiting for your tires i would take your time. or else you'll be stuck with a massive costco sized cart full of groceries and not really a good area to wait. they do offer a bench in the tire center itself but that area can get crowded. Service was great!

First time here. I saved my receipt from a week ago as Zoa energy drinks went on sale to save $5.50 each. I got $11 back. The policy now is 30 days not 14. I knew I'd be flying back to MN and found m and m bark, Alaskan Reindeer Sausage and a snack mix. These are packed in the carry on. The parking lot was weird with diagonal and one direction parking. In MN, we have vertical parking, and you can enter in both directions. Oh well, no big deal. This Costco had more snack items and was similar to our business center offerings.

Got my tires swapped out for my winter tires last winter. Then a couple of months later when I went to swap them back. Not even 5 minutes later after I dropped off my car they called me saying they can't swap the tires because of uneven wear and weather cracking. Mind you I just bought the car 2 months before the tire swap and had BMW do an inspection of the car and had no issues with anything on the car. When I came back the showed me the tires and 2 of the tires where not mine, there were rocks all in the grooves of the tire and they were bald. So basically when I got my tire back the first time they gave me 2 tires that weren't mine. Now I have to buy a new set of tires. Their excuse was it was a busy time of the month. Definitely not doing anymore business with them. I shouldn't have to check to see if you gave me the right tires after a change.

No one answers the phone. I tried calling thinking just MAYBE they might read their negative reviews about poor customer service and start answering. Found tires online for my car but the price isn't listed. Will take my business elsewhere.

The purchasing power of $1.50 has for forty years now been pegged to one Costco Food Court hotdog and fountain drink.Had the Federal Reserve over said timeframe conducted its affairs with equally conservative restraint, the U.S. dollar's purchasing power would have maintained 1980s levels to this day.Tires bought at Costco include free lifetime rotations and nitrogen gas top-off. Lug nut tightening is moreover, after being started pneumatically, finished via torque wrench rather than being barbarically air-ratcheted down* all the way onto your rim. Free lifetime tire rotations and nitrogen gas top-offs are included, and $100 or more off sets of Michelins has been a recurring deal for years running.(*) As I had observed being done at (the defunct since November 2017) Johnson's Tire Service. And for shoppers seeking to avoid or reduce their ingestion of toxic agricultural chemicals, there is always a worthwhile selection of organic food including fresh produce, frozen fruits and vegetables, nuts, dried fruits, baking ingredients, and prepackaged and ready-to-cook items. Finally, the resident optometrist, Dr. Marko Hrgovic, has over the decades been as constant and appreciated of a presence at the DeBarr location as--the $1.50 Costco hot dog!

Put on an 8 week wait list for tire installation. Finally just paid someone else to do it and got told this voids my warranty. Also abysmal wait times. Will not be repeating this experience.

Excellent customer service, they can use some tire guys. Shouldn't take 2plus months to get tires done. Other than that, Excellent.
