“Anchorage needs about 10 more shops like this! This is a place to shop for local, "Alaska-stuff" for...people that already live in Alaska. Or, alternatively, a great place to take your visiting friends that are more into local culture/flavor that paying someone hundreds of dollars to walk on a glacier and take cheesy photos. (that will inevitably end up on Tinder)This place mainly features local graphic design on all sorts of things, but mainly cozy apparel. If you've seen that famous graphic of two ravens on a dumpster with a reference to Spenard: it came from here! They also have hoodie with the coolest-looking Flattop render on them I have ever seen! They also carry Uncle Leroy's coffee! (RIP, physical locations *sadface*)My only complaint: I wish there even MORE local art designs. What they have is great, just needs more variety!”
“I’ve ordered a T shirt and a sweatshirt. Both separate orders and fantastic customer service on both orders. The quality of their products are great. Super soft and durable sweatshirts and very classic fitting T shirts. Their logo colors stay strong and are very accurate. Their stuff fits true to size. Love the company love supporting Alaskan Made. Great products great company great service. ?⭐️”
“While I didn’t get any photos of the establishment, I must say that it’s a great vintage shop that’s geared more towards the roaring 20’s vibe. The only reason why I gave 4/5 stores is that the selections they currently have for menswear is limited in comparison to women’s. Despite though, it’s a beautiful shop with a welcoming atmosphere & the person I am assuming was the owner was friendly and accommodating. Definitely a spot I look forward to checking out again!”
“I stopped at this store unexpectedly after our dinner. It’s almost winter time and I was in need for at least one big coat for daily use since I came to Alaska with only summer stuff. Both ladies who were working before closing time today went above and beyond with me! I was looking for a specific style that they didn’t have available in store and was trying things on. The girl was very helpful and knowledgeable even about how I shouldn’t get the white one if I live in the side of town where the snow could be a bit dirtier. I ended up getting my first winter coat with them and the lady at the counter wished me happy birthday and even said, welcome to Alaska. What a wonderful experience with this store even when they were about to close! I’ll be back for more:D”
“Just wanted to start off with how great the associates that work there are . Every single person greets you and helps any way they can ! Olivia was the person that helped me and she was great couldn’t ask for better service ! Probably the best buckle in all buckles !”

8931 Old Seward Hwy Suite A, Anchorage“Both in-store and over the phone customer service was amazing! I purchased all my winter gear here while I was in Alaska. All my clothing withstood Alaskan winter hiking. I now feel confident in winter hiking in the lower 48. Thank you!”
“I am so glad I was finally able to make it to this shop last Friday. What a game changer the Terry bike shorts made for my long bike rides (recommended by staff when I discussed my issues). I'll never buy the usual brands again! I wish I had bought them a lot sooner. I'll definitely be returning to this shop.”

410 G St, Anchorage“Local art and wearable/useful souvenirs all in one! Give this place a visit on your downtown shopping trip. Shirts and sweatshirts are soft and good quality and the illustrations are cool and locally inspired. They also have stickers and some household items featuring the artist's designs”

520 W 6th Ave, Anchorage“I just purchased a parka from 6th Avenue Outfitters. I want to commend the sales person, Ally. She was terrific, helping me select the coat with the features I wanted, and the best size. Without her help I might not have made the purchase. Recommend this store--small local business, good selection and prices and excellent customer service.”
“We love AK Starfish and have bought from Marci’s stores for years- always a must stop when company is in town for her Alaskan designed wear and gifts- Anchorage, Seward and Homer so many locations to choose from- just bought new sweatshirts for all the boys in my family”
“Was in a pinch and needed some extra luggage. Eddie Bauer is a long time favorite outfitter of mine. I can always depend on Eddie Bauer products for quality, performance, style, and value. Found this location to have a wider selection and was larger than many other Eddie Bauer stores back in the lower states. Was able to find exactly what I needed.”

320 W 5th Ave, Anchorage“I love Hot Topic! The more you buy the more credits they give you. Great deals to be had on their sale racks! Most of my clothing comes from there because I love the service and I love the quality of what they sell”
“I agree with fellow elite Yelper: Joy. This Old Navy is the for the kids...and men. The women's section is still pretty non-existent. Employees are a hit or miss. My last visit, I was up to my ears in toddler clothes and didn't notice the carts when we first walked in. An employee kindly went to retrieve one for me. I thought that was nice. But these experiences are far and few between. I am always able to find quality items for my spouse, pre-teen(s), and toddler, so that would be the sole reason I've given this Old Navy location, the rating I have.”
“My only problem is the pricing. I saw that on the item I wanted to purchase, it said $80.00. When I went up to the counter to pay, she charged me $100.00. I still paid for it because it’s hard to find my size. And that first week of work, one of the pockets got caught on one of the low cabinets in the kitchen, it tore a little. The brand was ProClub. One of their light jackets.”
“I tried on some of the new sun dresses *March 2022*, ended up leaving with one. There were two employees and they were the nicest people, definitely contributed to a positive experience even if it was "their job". One of them just had received a promotion. I see why. I enjoyed shopping there, which I hate shopping anywhere. I'll go back.”

320 W 5th Ave, Anchorage“Thank you Kayleigh! With prom season here, and the stresses on parents and daughters on the search for the perfect shoes, you were incredibly patient and helpful. Thank you for letting us use the store for our mini runway. We were so relieved…ok MOM was relieved we finally found the perfect heels at the very end of our day in the boutique. I even treated myself to a gorgeous skirt found there as well. Perfect finds ❤️ We will be back!”
“Walking into the American Eagle store at the 5th Avenue Mall, you're immediately enveloped by the expansive range of fashion choices, neatly arranged and catering to a variety of styles. The store layout is welcoming, allowing shoppers to browse through the collections of denim, casual wear, and accessories with ease. The aesthetic is modern yet cozy, evidenced by the well-organized displays and warm wooden floors that invite you to explore more. What sets this location apart is the staff's dedication to service. They strike the perfect balance between being attentive and giving you space to shop at your leisure. Their friendliness is not just a courtesy but a genuine effort to help you find exactly what you need. This is complemented by the store's cleanliness, which speaks volumes about the team's commitment to providing a pleasant shopping experience. From the latest denim trends showcased on mannequins to the promotional posters that offer a glimpse into the brand's ethos, American Eagle at the 5th Avenue Mall is a testament to classic American style with a contemporary twist. Whether you're looking for a new pair of go-to jeans or a casual shirt for the weekend, this store is a haven for quality, comfort, and style.”
“I have not been in a Zumies in a long time. It was a fun experience. I found some fun stickers (though I was sad the main one I wanted was folded in the middle). Actually they had quite a few stickers that were like that. Definitely for a trip in. You will find something you will like.”
“Quickly realized there aren't many tuxedo rentals in town. This place is a little overwhelming when you first walk in, but holy cow is the owner beyond knowledgeable! Just by looking at my partner he was able to bring him a tux to try on and the sizing was perfect on first try, even the shoes! Very friendly service. The price is r-I-g-h-t compared to another place we stopped in prior. Highly recommend for your tuxedo rental needs!”
“So kind! The best and most friendly customer service. Such a pleasant experience with Ghingher & Allen and worth the dime. I will be returning so I suggest everyone else to as well.”
