“I love this place! I’ve struggled to find a good mechanic in the past and it seems like there are less and less of them in Anchorage, but these guys are amazing. I came to them with some concerns about my cooling system in my engine. I also knew I needed to get new tires and have my brakes done, but didn’t even bring it up as I figured they would be way too booked with it being PFD week and right before winter. They gave me a call and thoroughly explained the issues with my vehicle, awaiting my approval for any services performed. In the past I’ve had mechanics “fix things” and just say “alright that’ll be $1000” with no explanation or consent. These guys are very knowledgeable and great at explaining things to people who aren’t well versed in car knowledge (aka myself ?). Within one day these guys diagnosed that the issue with the cooling system was a simple fix done with just a coolant flush, did an oil change, installed new brake pads and new winter tires, replaced my spark plugs amongst a few other things. All of this was done for a little under $1700. Most places I’ve looked at tires have quoted me close to $1000 just for the tires themselves. I didn’t even have an appointment and they did all of this in less than 24 hours. I think I have found my forever auto shop, can’t say enough good things about this place!”

Norman did a great job getting rid of the mold, dog hairs and smell in my car. “My insurance company sent me to classic collision on Dowling first. But the guy was so rude to me. He told me that they couldn’t get my car in until March after he very sarcastically told me that he was sorry they didn’t just happen to have the parts for my car sitting on their shelves. He was a jerk. I left in tears and went to Payless collision. They immediately made me feel better. They made me an appointment immediately had my car in within a week and a half had it for 2 1/2 days and I picked it up and it is beautiful. The lady at the counter was amazingly kind. “Was involved in a hit and run. All the places I called were booked out for months. When I reached out to Salazar, he said he would look at it and quote me that very same day. He offers great work for an affordable price. Very trustworthy man. It took about a month for repairs however, that is due to shipping the parts and not his fault. Would recommend 100%.”

“Let me tell you a story. I have USAA Insurance. They had me take my vehicle to Able Body Shop for an initial estimate on a mishap. I got an estimate on April 5 2021. Able was unable to get me in until June 1. So I waited while they ordered / received parts and found a time slot for me. I Drop my vehicle of June 1 and receive a call on June 4 about further issues. They spend 16 hrs disassembling my vehicle to tell me that I needed another 8k in work. I did not need another 8k in work. Moreover, we further discovered that Able hadn't ordered all the parts needed and had discarded a critical part for reinstall (of which they had to order a new one - delaying me 2 further weeks for delivery to A1) and they removed parts to include the AC compressor for no reason (requiring a recharge now)I shopped around Anchorage for another shop and found A1 amenable and capable of receiving my disassembled 2017 Tacoma. Not only did they fix it in less than two weeks, they allowed me full access to inputs, were extensively accommodating with my needs, and delivered me a competently repaired vehicle within an extensively shorter timeline and all at a reasonable cost. I have no doubt if i had gone to them in April i would have had an operable truck in April. “I am a busy career minded single father with very little time on my hands and not a lot of excess funds. Chaz limited have gone out of their way to get my son and I back on the road. They were polite and eager to listen to my situation and find a way to work with me. They provided me with a quick turnaround on my vehicle being repaired. Went out of there way to find a rental near the repair shop. And when something was not convenient for me they went out of there way to provide me options that I was pleased with. Each individual at Chaz was amazing and helpful but I was lucky to work directly with Jourdyn who may be the best customer service individual I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Some companies feel very corporate, Chaz feels like family just trying to get you back on the road.”

“Classic Collision completed my repair for the amount they quoted which was $100 less than the next lowest quote I received from shops in town. Furthermore, they guaranteed the work done in a shorter timeframe (2 weeks) and then completed the work within 1 week. I dropped my car off on a Monday morning and it was done the following Monday afternoon. The repaired fender has a lifetime warranty on the work and looks just like it belongs there. I also received several text message updates during the time my car was in the shop updating me to its status. This is the most reliable and professional auto body repair shop in town. I would assume all of there locations have a similar standard of service.”

“Danny's did a great job on my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel pickup. The rear driver's side door was damaged. They found a door, painted it and replaced my damaged door. They made the paint blend in with the other body panels beautifully. Ask for Eric if you go to Danny's. I'll definitely go back for any other body work in the future.”
