Came here to pick up some gifts to take home. The store isn't easy to find and was only able to find it after reading a review here. It's in the strip mall but on the opposite side, only building with 2 stories. Small store with lots of variety. Was given 3 samples to try and they were all delicious. A bit pricy but a great gift from Alaska!

I just want to say that these are the most gourmet and beautiful chocolates I have ever had! It almost reminded me of the See’s candy in Hawaii and the ladies were very lovely and even let us sample the milk and dark chocolates!Personally, I loved the milk chocolate as I’m not much of a dark chocolate type of girl. Also— YOU MUST TRY THE LEMON TART!!! We had to buy the last of it and I wish there were more because I literally would’ve just filled a box of lemon tarts to go.I made a box for myself and a box to get sent to my family in Hawaii, they loved it! Can’t wait to come back here and try different flavors!Also, yes they are located on the second floor! I was a bit confused at first ?

We were staying at the Hotel Captain Cook and happened upon this store. Beautiful chocolates and they taste amazing! Love that they have a large assortment of dark chocolate with interesting flavors such as lavender dark chocolate, matcha mango, etc. Wish I would have bought more ?.

This shop is upstairs in a strip center. It is small and quaint. Beyond clean! They offer so many candy choices. It was super hard to choose from. They have unique flavors and gorgeous choices. They also have home made marshmallows you cannot resist! I would definitely make a stop here and pick up some gorgeous and tasty treats again!

This shop is a little hard to get to but totally worth it. It's upstairs above a real estate office, but it has a separate staircase. The confections are beautifully displayed and what I had was all really good. The Peri chocolate was fantastic, it wasn't hot but the pepper notes came through at the end.

A confectionery pleasure. Handcrafted and elegantly painted chocolates and confections. In the beautiful Captain Cook Hotel in downtown Anchorage. Gorgeous gift boxes; reasonable price point. The wife-husband owner team are talented and kind.

Incredible little chocolate shop! Their signature chocolates are a little piece of heaven. Light, rich, and full of flavor. While a little pricey, they make for an incredible surprise!

?Shop Local ?Inspired by the beautiful Alaskan northern lights,Chef Ingrid crafted what is now the colorful Aurora Chocolates. She makes delicious chocolates! I am sending some home to my family in the lower 48! Ingrid and her staff have great costumer service, the store is very clean and the chocolates are amazing! Highly recommend!

Wow, what a cool little store! All of the chocolates and candies are locally made and are impressive. Some of them were hand painted as well. This would be a great place to get something special for that special someone. The women working there are very friendly and are passionate about their products. The store front itself was a little deceiving because it reminded me of an office. But don't let that sway you. Stop in to check them out!
