“I love this place. Not only did I buy a fabulous, one-of-a-kind piece of Alaskan art, but I learned their customer service is terrific. What happened is this: the piece was shipped to me and there was a divot on the bottom of the glass that wasn’t there when I bought it. I contacted Stephan’s and asked about options. They gave me 3 really great options and then they made it right immediately. I highly recommend shopping here - they stand behind their products!”

4300 Old Seward Hwy, Anchorage“I went to Northern Made Creations for a custom ring and got a stunning finished product and incredible customer service. They kept me up to date on the work and sent me pics of the design along the way. I think Jack was the guy who helped me. Thanks again for the help with this piece and I'd be happy to do business with you again.”

6407 Brayton Dr, Anchorage“We have family in Anchorage and every time we visit we make sure to stop at Amanda’s studio. The studio is bright and welcoming even in the middle of winter. The colors of Amanda’s art engulf you with a wave of joyous serenity! Amanda’s work is displayed and for sale in various styles. Originals, prints, greeting cards, stickers, mugs, coloring books, etc. Amanda’s work speaks to her positive energy and her great love of Alaska. Do yourself a favor and stop by her studio, you might even be greeted by Amanda or her husband, both are wonderful kind people.”
“An absolutely lovely shop! I brought my daughter here to find some pieces for her senior photos, and we found exactly the type of clothing we were looking for. Not only is the shop lovely but the owner is too. They helped us by adding some pieces they thought my daughter would like, and they also let my son operate the “old” box tv and VHS tapes to keep him busy while my daughter tried on clothes. Both kids were happy and so was I! Five stars for excellent selection and service!”
“Be patient with their hours, usually Mon-Th 11-2 in the main hospital building. Elevate Alaska Native artists from all around the state, and support this totally volunteer-run store.”
“Jenny rocks! She works with beginners (like me) who hadn't touched clay since elementary school to accomplished potters (often together in the same class). The classes are geared to teach you technique, but are not "canned" you make what you want to make. This not "Monday we make mugs, Wensday we make bowls" She encourages your creativity and guides you through throwing on the wheel, trimming, preparing pieces for each of the firings, and glazing. She is able to work with each of us where we are at and her openess and comfort with all things pottery (she's been doing this for 35 years) creates a sense of community in the studio that really supports learning and creativity.”
“They have an amazing selection in this store , Beautiful pieces , but over priced , this store can have everything sell out quickly if it was a bigger store and items are displayed nicely , they actually have things on the floor , which makes me think why would i pay that much for something sitting on the floor .”

Shirts and sweatshirts are soft and good quality and the illustrations are cool and locally inspired. They also have stickers and some household items featuring the artist's designs”

Plus the owner is a local artist with several of her own artworks on display. Something for everyone here! A must visit for anyone in search for local Alaskan artwork!”
“A fun place to find art, with a little cafe built in. Found several pretty pieces there. The staff is helpful and enjoy what they're doing and their website is pretty good for shopping online.”

“Excellent local art gallery with a wide variety of media/style.
Employees are always very friendly, not pushy at all.
Great place to find a gift for you loved ones.”
