3002 Seward Hwy, Anchorage“They helped me out from the start to finish with setting up a delivery to an Air Cargo, to get it shipped out to my village. They were very professional, helpful and kept me in the loop through the entire process.”

400 Rodeo Pl, Anchorage“Over the years I've shopped in at least 25 different Home Depot stores across the western U.S. and I don't recall any store being as friendly and helpful as ALL of the staff here at the Rodeo Pl. Anchorage Alaska store. Rental, paint, pro desk, check out, I thank you all.”

811 E 58th Ct, Anchorage“I recently had my old Dyson ball vacuum cleaned/serviced by Bell's. I am very pleased with their service. They were professional, knowlegable about my brand/model, and did a fantastic job. They were also able to locate a new brush roller. The vacuum works much better. The cost was very reasonable. I will certainly recommend them. Thanks Bells.

“I had to get screws and a rain gutter and the stuff will go together. The military discount was ten percent and I am able to use a vet id or log on the membership to have the thing be able to work.”

7521 Old Seward Hwy B, Anchorage“I called Kirby Sales to see if they had a belt replacement for my (non-Kirby) vacuum. They did not, but he referred me to three local places that might, and I was able to get the piece locally rather than order it off Amazon. They will be the first place I turn in the future for my vacuum needs.”
“We deliver material here, the personal is nice and they help you in any way they can, I like to deliver here, and they have free sodas and coffee for customers that's great.”
“As usual, I go Best Buy looking for a particular item and sure enough, it'll be there. Prices are often very reasonable. I will be back soon for a back I p camera installation, which I'm sure they will do an excellent job as I have had them do installations in the past.”
“This is the HD to shop at.??
Go see Bill Skitt at the Pro Desk. This man is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. 5 stars for the store and the crew. ?”
““Best Buy: A Magical Land of Electronics and Existential Crises”
Walking into Best Buy is like stepping into an alternate dimension where time stands still, and self-control goes out the window. I went in for a $10 HDMI cable, but somehow left with a $600 sound system, a “smart” fridge, and a serious questioning of my life choices.
1. The “Help” Paradox
The staff at Best Buy are a mystery. When I need help, they scatter like ninjas in a puff of smoke. But the minute I start to wonder if I can lift a 70” TV by myself, they materialize out of nowhere to remind me of the warranty options.
2. Aisles of Temptation
There’s something in the air at Best Buy that makes you think, “Yes, I do need a drone,” even if you live in a tiny apartment with no outdoor space. Next thing you know, you’re holding a gaming chair you’ll never use while seriously considering a karaoke machine for “occasional parties” that you never throw.
3. The Checkout Gauntlet
Best Buy checkout lines feel like mini obstacle courses where you’re bombarded by snack-sized impulse buys, extended warranties, and obscure cables you’re certain you’ll need one day. By the time you get to the register, you’re in so deep you’ll add a bag of batteries and a portable fan, just for the thrill.
4. The Unbox… or Puzzle Challenge?
Getting your tech home is one thing—figuring out the packaging is another. Every item comes with layers of packaging so complicated it requires an engineering degree or five YouTube tutorials to free your device from its box.
All in all, Best Buy is an adventure. Just bring a budget, a list, and maybe a reminder that, no, you probably don’t need that $3,000 coffee maker that also plays music.”

“Great experience. I had a couple issues with my dryer. Decided to see if it was worth fixing. Technician was Randy. Very polite, timely, and knowledgeable. Open about cost and recommendations. Made sure that everything was working and clean before he left. Very reasonable prices and I’m glad I avoided tossing a good dryer that was easily fixed.”
