Getting a phone repaired at this store is an debacle. They didn’t have the part in stock, then they gave misinformation about what is required for drop off. It takes five trips to get a phone repaired, not to mention all the time you spend standing around in there waiting for their arcane process to make sense.If the store was centrally located I wouldn’t mind so much. But a trip to the downtown mall is an ordeal.And furthermore, they make these stores look like lounges where you can hang out but the chairs are painfully uncomfortable.

This is the worst Apple Store in the world. I showed up last Friday within 1 h 15’ of closing after I had called to check on the inventory of the IPhone 15 pro max. So I was told there was one phone available for pickup first come first serve, not a big deal since I was 5 mins walk from the store. I showed up, a tattooed head man shows up with an iPad asking how he could help me. I stated that I had called and I wanted to buy the iPhone. He says unfortunately it will take more than an hour to process the purchase’, shocked I replied. ‘What’s so hard about buying an iPhone that he’d take a full hour?’, he then said ‘ we close in an hour’. I soon realized he was making up excuses, so I proposed that I could place the order online right there and just pick up the phone. The tattooed man said, well I have two salesmen right now on the floor it’ll still take an hour. I said, why don’t you get me the phone from the back room, it won’t take that long? He said oh we’re the last State, everywhere else it is 10pm so we’re the last to close, sorry, comeback tomorrow. Disappointed, I turned around to leave, he interjected that I could buy online and come back to pick it up tomorrow. I told him you know, I’m not a resident of Alaska and I’m leaving by noon tomorrow, so I wanted to grab the phone now because I won’t have time to come by at 10am when the store opens up, I got a flight to catch. He seemed unconvinced so I just left.I have never seen lazy people like him, really willing to turn away a customer paying cash for a phone, he didn’t care because 1 hour wasn’t enough to sell a phone. If I was his boss, he’d be fired that same moment. I want my employees to keep the doors open if a last minute customer shows up. I didn’t even show up last minute. Apple who do you hire? Who actually hired this guy? Unpleasant, unfriendly and lazy? Why does it take 1 hour to buy a phone? It’s not a car or a boat, it’s a phone!!!!! Max 5 mins, why would you need 55 more mins to process a sale? Something is wrong with your system or the employees you got. I crown you the worst Apple Store on the planet, hands down!

Made an online order for three main line items for pickup and the email said to arrive at the time listed in the afternoon, even though the order was still processing. Arrived at the location and was told the order was still processing, was told they could manually check in the back for the order to which I said “yes of course” and then they proceeded to continue to check in other customers, walking around, and not providing any further update. Spoke to 4 workers for an update and none seemed willing to just gather the order, or sell me the exact items in the order on the spot instead. Didn’t seem eager to extend any customer service when the order stated available for pickup today and the order was made hours prior. After 45 minutes of waiting we left, canceled the order, and found a better deal at costco.

Zero stars better reflection—since visiting the store to fix a shattered screen—I have spent countless hours on apple support trying to get pictures returned to phone—Hayley at the store then took the phone assured me she had backed them up before doing work—great!!! Except they weren’t—I live two hours from store-this was just the biggest bummer of my visit—there was more but that’s the icing on the cake of that visit—Awful experience in store

Walked in knowing I wanted to buy some airpods and asked to purchase them. They told me they wouldnt be able to check me out for 30 minutes! They expected me to wait or come back at another time. Ill just be heading to Best Buy and getting them in 3 minutes.

I'm not one to post reviews often but had to share my experience. The employees were very kind but were unable to help me to restore factory settings on my phone because their internet isn't good enough?! I spent 45 minutes as they attempted to do their download 3 times until a manager told me they need better computers to do that and it will take months for them to get here so to just try again at home. Literally the only reason I went to the mall was to visit the Apple Store after ATT was unable to help. To add insult to injury, I get back to my car after less than an hour to find it's been broken into, window smashed all over daughter's car seat and my child's backpack stolen. All of this for what turned out to be a very simple fix that I was able to figure out in between filing a police report and an insurance claim. Don't go here looking for help.

Does not take care of there customers. Bought a phone cash 1400, tried to get financing on another iPhone and they also sold me a leather phone case that doesn’t work and they super rudely declined stating “idk how that’s our problem”

Tony was super helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Helped us get the best deal with government/ student discounts. Will go see him again when we need more stuff!

I've spent a lot of money in this store in the past 6 months to a year. They just seem to not care about there customers unless it benefits them. Bought a computer take it back and buy a less good product from us. Payed cash for a 1400 dollar iPhone and wanna finance another one? Screw you bud that not my problem they said

This rating is more an Apple issue not store. AirPods purchased before October 2020 with static issues - Apple says you need to come to store to verify replacement coverage. Both failed the test but only option is to buy new units.Apple needs to be able to save a trip to their store - but don’t as it generates an opportunity to up sell you.

Parking is awful to get in. I should have just ordered the computer to be delivered to my house for free since they don’t even help with set up of brand new computers anymore. I guess they don’t make enough money on the high-priced products to help customers anymore

Apple Store Anchorage was closed yesterday 02-10-2023 (10.Feb23) without any notice. Apple Website, Google and others were showing the store to be open.Arriving there at 11am, the store was closed.....Very disappointing
