An update to my earlier review. AAC did not respond to my request for a refund because they installed the wrong O2 sensor. I filed a complaint withthe Better Business Bureau. The complaint was closed by BBB staff because AAC did not respond to the complaint. More to come.

I experienced a slight popping noise followed by a knocking sound and compressed air hissing when driving my vehicle. My oil gauge also declined drastically. After this had happened I pulled into the nearest parking lot and assumed It was engine damage. Had it towed to Alaskan auto center for them start the car and inform me there was no knocking noises and there is oil pressure. They took the car for a test drive then called to let me know there is nothing wrong with the car and noticed no failures while driving it. When I picked the car up I noticed instantly the shifter was VERY hard to shift into any gear and the car made weird noises when going a certain speed. (The car is manual.) I asked Fred (owner of the shop) how much it would be for a future oil change just so I would know and he informed me he wasn't sure due to the fact that my car sits too low to go on his lift. How would they have diagnosed my car COMPLETELY without being able to look under the car!? I'm sure they have worked on cars for quite some time now, but how would you think that using your ALL your muscle just to shift into gear is normal functioning for a vehicle? Next day I got my car home and decided to jack it up and give it a look underneath. Not even a minute under the car and I notice a coin shape hole in the TRANSMISSION. This is what caused pop noise followed by the momentary knocking. the transmission fluid completely drained from this hole and that's why shifting gears was VERY hard. In the end I paid $200 for them to tell me the car is "Fine" and for me to diagnose the problem myself. I expected a better experience from a shop that's worked on cars for so long.

Very rude. I called and asked for their services and this guy literally told me “I don’t understand what you want find somebody else” if you aren’t made to be in customer service than why even answer the phone?

Very happy with this auto shop. Fast service.Fred and his team traced a intermittent starting issue and fixed the problem in 1.5 hours. I will be working with them again.My dealership is running 3/4 weeks for appointments. They fit me in asap. I recommend you to try them.Service: Electrical repair

Had the worst experience with this place and my jeep. They attempted to help get a transmission for it. After putting one in, while driving, my whole front, driver side wheel just fell off. Of course they fixed it for free and gave me a couple of free oil change coupons, but I will not be taking any vehicle back to them.And it’s under my dads name to whomever replied to my post.

I will give this place a 2 only because:- They got me in quick- Appointment was made a week before getting serviced.Now for customer service and the actual service, if I could give this place a 0 I would.Asked if they can diagnosed my car fully without going to the dealer and they had the stuff to do it and they said yes.Long story short they took my vehicle in and then said you need to take it to the dealer to get diagnosed. And charged my insurance for money that the dealership should have just done the first time. Instead of them!And it’s not the owner, but the worker was really snickety. And made things difficult by talking to him and asking for payment and if they can take a picture of the invoice for my insurance. Never again

Talked to this guy on the phone, it didn't seem like he had his act together. Asked him for the price of a job and he didn't give me the price for the whole job only part of it. I had to ask more questions than necessary and couldn't seem to get a straight answer from him.

I cane in and had them look at my engine and they took it apart band gave me a quote that was too high for me. So I had it towed back to my house but when I open my hood and take apart my engine, it's all loose, transmission is not connected and just wasn't needed to be like that when though it was just a starter problem.
