Was finally able to get an appointment for 8am Friday October 20th. Lobby hadn't even opened yet when a technician approached and matched my car to his paperwork and had me pull into a bay. Was told there was minor "cosmetic damage" to my studded tires but they were in fairly good condition (they're 4 years old, so I know they're not perfect). Saturday afternoon I noticed a bulge on the inner sidewall of my rear driver side tire. Live less than 2 miles away, so I drove over at 5pm, hoping they could fix it to at least get me through the weekend. Brought my receipt from Friday with me as proof that I had just been there for tire changeover. Showed a photo of the bulge to a guy at the counter and asked if I should be worried. He said the something about straps broken and the tire needed to be replaced. I asked if they could do it today, he said no. So now I either drive with an unsafe tire or switch to my spare. Was this bulge the "cosmetic" damage the technician noted?I'll be returning to where I originally got the studded tires for new ones and will be adding rims to my summer tires to alleviate the wear and tear on the tires whenever they get changed over so this won't happen again.

I came in to the Eagle River Alaska tire Service store an hour before closing. I didnt need much. One tire was a slow leaker. They got me in no problem. Provided bead service and I was out the door. The ladies at the front were friendly but professional. The gentleman who rang me out you could tell he was a veteran employee. And the young gentleman in the back had me going in no time. Very professional all around. I highly recommend this facility for your tire service. D

Doing the system Alaska Tire creates and making an appointment on their calendar means nothing. I waited for an hour after my appt was scheduled to get my vehicle in.

We had a slow leak on the driver's rear tire. They got us in pretty quickly without an appointment, to find that we had THREE screws in the tire and it was not repairable. We were given options about replacements and an appointment for 4 hours later in the day to get it changed. We found some places to spend some time, returned early and were able to get all work completed prior to our original appointment. Sure glad we found this company to get the job done since we were only in town for the day.

Called a little after 0900 on a Saturday and they indicated they had a few slots available to take Blizzak's off and get summer tires in. Great communication when setting up, dropping off and waiting for.

I needed brand new tires put on my car and these guys were able to get me in same day, even though I needed an appointment for the following day. They saw me pull up, called me and told me to pullInto a bay. They got the job done fast, being communicative along the way. The price seemed a bit steep for just essentially swapping tires, but worth it for the awesome service. Thanks guys!

Renee was awesome! Her partner Bob was quick to answer my call and eager to coordinate with Renee the help I needed. Renee gave me an estimated time and actually arrived earlier to ensure she could fix my tire and get me to my appointment. It was super cold out but she did not flinch or waver in the weather. Even with the cold giving her problems with the tire, she was fast, persistent and made it all happen in great time. I am super thankful and will definitely use and recommend them again.

Wow, guess I just got lucky last time.I've been trying for over a week to get an appointment here.Every time they say "we're full today and tomorrow, but call back tomorrow and we'll getcha in".And every time I call they say they are booked and to call again.Worse still, I get a busy signal when I call at 8am since their hold system is apparently overwhelmed. It's really disheartening to pound the "redial" button for 30 minutes straight, only to finally get through and find their are no appointments available.Guess I'll go back to the old way, just showing up at the other tire shops 30 minutes before opening, at least then I know I will get a slot.

I have been going to this Alaska Tire Service location for years. They are Amazing! They will have you in and out in less than an hour for an oil change. I get fully synthetic oil for $80. They have always done a good/speedy job. Also, if you buy tires from them you get free tire rotation for however long you keep those tires on. I recommend this place to my friends and family!

Very glad these guys found the screw in my tire so quickly. The "other" tire shop couldn't find the problem, so don't mess around go to Alaska Tire first!

Took my vehicle to Toyota to get an oil change about a month ago. While cashing out, the guy said I should consider getting my brakes and tires replaced by next oil change. At one point, few years back, a manager there had told my dad that he'd be better off going elsewhere to get his brakes replaced. And considering the cost, I decided to get a second opinion.Went thru many reviews of different businesses in town, more bad than good reviews. Came across Alaska Tire Service and I've only used them to change my tires over (because it's 30min or less!!). I had no idea they did other services! They already have my business so I called to make an appointment to have them check my brakes out. When I showed up to my appointment, they gave me exact percentages of where my brakes are and as it turns out, I don't need to replace them for quite sometime. The appointment only lasted 20min! When it does come time to get my brakes replaced, I will be coming here! Thank you!

Do not use this company! I called to get pricing on having a flat tire changed and the man who answered was extremely rude! I ended up just hanging up the phone cause I couldn't deal with the way he was speaking to me. Then I got multiples calls back from the man's cell phone leaving crying voicemails on my phone! I wish I could give them ZERO stars! So inappropriate!
