Only for gas

I wish I could give this place negative stars! Only stop at this gas station if you are in dire need of gasoline and can't make it to another gas station! So many negatives here: 1) Gasoline prices are too high (being so close to downtown Houston), but they are the type that have the cash vs credit price, for which both are too expensive. (For example, gas station not even 2 miles away has gas for $2.19, here it is $2.39 cash or $2.49 credit). 2) Too many homeless hang around and aggressively demand money from you. 3) The outside receipt doesn't print, so you have to go inside anyways - doesn't help when you're in a hurry. 4) Young man behind the counter is rude. 5) Bathroom has a sign that states, " Out of Order, DON'T EVEN ASK!!!" I asked, thinking maybe they have it closed due to the large amount of homeless that hang out here, but the employee rudely tells you it's closed and tells you to go to CVS (across the road) to use their bathroom instead. No respect for customers at all. I will never use this gas station again, I would rather push my car to another gas station!

I put $1.50 in vacuum and got at most 45 seconds of service. I don't recommend using these machines.

This just a standard gas station sells Valero branded gasoline. The convenient store aka Food Mart is really not impressive. I was here a couple of times because my car was extremely hungry for some fuel. I normally prefer Valero gas station over other brands. This one is in the middle of Midtown across from CVS, next to Midtown Saigon House and near HCC. The gas prices at the pump were extremely confusing. Look at the photos I posted. They could charge as much as 20 cents extra when you use credit card. After I pay cashier, the prices changed. Whoa. Seriously? Beware your surrounding when coming here after dark. They don't have bright lights and they close fairly early.

Cheap snacks, friendly employees, but you can find cheaper gas if you drive a few major lights south
