Great atmosphere, prices, and amazingly friendly staff! I had a family reunion here for New Year's and they told us all about things to do, including the town's first inaugural fish drop! If I ever visit again I'll definitely be stopping by to say hi to Scott and Taylor again.

These people have been a blessing to the community. I have nothing but praise for Scott and the beverages he makes. I've yet to have something I don't like and I don't see it happening anytime soon. All I can say is keep on keeping on! ??

Who would have thought that in the wee town of Wedowee, Alabama you would find a winery plus brewery which opened a couple of years ago and has expanded to an event location with a beautiful upstairs party room! The owner, Scott, gave us a rundown of the history of Wedowee, the lake, the local businesses and surrounding areas. We spent a very lovely afternoon tasting wines, beers and seltzers and talking to Scott. Thank you for enlightening us about your town and the wittily named wines which we fully intend to enjoy.

We stopped by for our first visit yesterday. The owners, Scott and Brooke could not have been more welcoming. We got a nice table upstairs and listened to a great live duo.I tried a wine flight of reds. Every one of them was very good! The Cabernet was outstanding! My husband had beer, which he also really enjoyed.We had a wonderful time and will definitely make this a regular stop when we visit Wedowee!We highly recommend Wedowee Winery and Brewery!!!

Didn't appreciate the insulting, blatantly political t-shirt that an employee / manager / possibly the owner was wearing. Suggest that in the business environment, keep your political views to yourself.

What an amazing place! Scott, one of the owners, was extremely friendly and knowledgable, and his recommendations for both the selections on hand and things to do in the area make the visit to his winery an absolute must. The wine is delicious and I challenge anyone to walk out of there without at least a few bottles in hand. You can't call a trip to Lake Wedowee complete without a stop here!

The wine is just ok, it’s obviously made from kits and bought juice. As a long time brewer with many award winning beers, both as a home brewer and a professional brewer, the beer is the worst I’ve ever had! To add th the insult they had the nerve to name what’s supposed to be a IPA, All Day IPA. Do they not realize one of the very best Session IPA’s ever brewed, by Founders Brewing Co, is name “All Day IPA”

Our friends on Lake Wedowee have been telling us about their local winery for several years. On our first visit to the area, we had to visit Lake Wedowee Winery and we’re so glad we did. From wines and ciders to beers and craft cocktails – there is something here for everyone. Scott is a very gracious and welcoming owner and service from the staff was excellent. They went above and beyond with tasting samples to make sure we were able to select a drink that was truly enjoyed. Being able to bring in food from outside to complement their beverage menu is a bonus. Wedowee is fortunate to have a business like this. We look forward to returning to Lake Wedowee Winery soon!

Best winery to date I’ve visited! Local and amazing, we do t just come for the many choices of wine flavors, and craft beers, but for the southern hospitality and the owners couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating!! We recommend this experience while visiting the lake 5 out 5 stars!!! And Allison is the best Bar temptress we’ve ever had!
