Drivers stay away from this company u will go broke. They say they will work with u but it is all talk. Drivers can’t support there family on 3-800.00 dollars aweek. I stayed out for a month or more at a time. When I did quit and turned the trk in I was charged 2300 in made up damages. The people are nice as long as u work there. U pay for everything from the time u get there. They charge u for locks, Load bars, mattress refer fuel washouts. Drivers u can’t make any money with them. U might want to do a lot of research on them

Absolutely horrible drivers. Was cut off and almost hit by one of this companies trucks. I honked my horn and when finally passing this danger to the road he flipped me off. What a horrible representation of a company.

Attempted to call, but no answer. Driver in 22122 driving erratically in Omaha NE. Switching lanes without signal, tailgating, veering out of his own lane, and inconsistent speeds (fast then slow). Putting others on the road in danger.

They need more customer freight! Teams are sitting and waiting hours and hours / even days at a time to get loads or to be loaded by shippers. You have to pay for your own trailer wash outs , reefer and def ! Pour communication & their customer rates have been cut by over 30% to the drivers pay for same loads they have been running for years and years. They say they work off of Dat load boards but then when u find a load , they say their customers have to be completed first but the customers aren’t paying and they control your mileage the closer you get to the end of your lease being paid off it’s almost like they try to frustrate you about to get you to quit and not pay off the truck / balloon payment. Only thing good is the Dispatcher we were lucky enough to have and the home time amount due to them having no loads / freight really abvailable anyways they didn’t mind how many days we took off. Nice trucks but horrible communication and no constant frieght for teams to run We always planned on being out for 4-5 weeks at a time and to run hard but never could bc we were sitting and waiting all the time with no loads and they expect you to dead head hours and hundreds of miles away for your next pick up on your own dime as well bc they have no freight available!

I have worked here for a little over 4 years now all total as a Logistics Coordinator in the Cullman Office. I can honestly say the people in that office are my family. The job is very straight forward. There have been many difficult times, there have been many rewarding times but that is how it goes in this industry. Through my years there I have been treated very well and more that fair. If you show respect to the management and ownership they will reciprocate that. If anyone has any issue even if it does not pertain to work, they can bring it to those in charge and they will be heard. I can vouch for that. This company has given me opportunities at times when I did not even deserve it. I even left and when it did not work out they allowed me back with open arms no questions asked. You WILL NOT find that most places I assure you. I cannot thank this company enough for allowing me to work here. In the time that i have been here I have gotten married and I am on my second child LOL! They have been more than accommodating to these life adjustments and even treat my family with the utmost respect and love. Plenty of negativity out there because people are always going to find something to complain about. There is a level of leniency here that you will not find at most places. Flexibility to take longer lunches if you have something important to do. If you need to have a day off for personal reasons they are more than willing to work for you. It is easy to get complacent and comfortable when a company is this reasonable and flexible and that is what gets so many people. They are too comfortable here and then when it is brought to their attention suddenly its not a great place to work anymore. I can speak from personal experience I have been comfortable here and needed a bit of a wake up call. You are able to achieve things here that 90% of the jobs offered in Cullman County, AL will not be able to offer. Simply do your job and be kind to people and you will succeed here. I always recommend this place to anyone and love everyone here. I even rent my house from Garrison rentals. They give employees a discount on the rental property prices. THAT IS AWESOME! If you have any questions about working at RE GARRISON/GARRISON LOGISTICS please feel free to reach out to me and I will give you an honest opinion on what actually goes on here. I am thankful for the work family I have here and the relationships I have built here over the years!

I’ve worked here for 2 years on the brokerage side and this is by far the best company I’ve ever worked for. They care about their employees and make the effort to get to know the people that work for them. The atmosphere is competitive but in a fun way that makes you a better broker. Could not imagine working for any other brokerage

It’s a great company to work for. They have company freight which keeps you rolling as an owner operator or lease driver. Not all dispatchers are created equal but I lucked out and got a decent one. Been here over 3 years paid my truck off and still rolling. Like any trucking company they have ups and downs but if you’re smart you can weather any storm here. Wish they had a load board for people that want a little autonomy after paying their trucks off but overall 1 of the better companies I’ve worked for.

I worked here for a little over two years as a broker. In my time I gave my all to this company I worked long hours, and multiple extra weekends. This company specifically the Chattanooga office is operated by leaders with no clue what is happening in the office. They made changes to make the office better but have failed to see what the real problem is. The day you start they teach you fairness and that the best rate/carrier that can properly service the customer will get the load. That is not the case because they have POD leaders that have full control over everything that is done and bend the rules in their favor and when you stand up for what is right in the company you get shown the door without hearing your side of the story. They let the POD leads make all the calls. As a POD lead, you should not be so greedy and spiteful that you talk down to people in your group and make them scared to communicate the options they have. This was done multiple times in my group. For example, you will be told no and that the carrier is going to be too late to pick up It is not best for the customer but that same person will put their regular on a load that is going to be 8 hours late to pick up time but because that person is the pod lead you aren’t allowed to say anything and if you do you will be talked down to for weeks and be on there bad side. They preach fairness and that if you work hard for an option you have the same equal right to a load. This is also untrue and on multiple occasions, it was specified that I would not be able to book the load even though I had a better rate and a great carrier even when the job you do is made to find the cheapest rate and the best carrier to service the customer. If the management would sit in groups and see how it operated then they wouldn’t be so blind to the situations that are happening. They lack leadership and they are taken advantage of by people who have been at the company for a long time. Once a great company to work for has been blinded by greed and people that have been put in power with zero leadership skills. They do not speak to the regular people in the office about anything they only believe what is told to them by “trusted” people, but when their trusted people are acting on greed the leadership is being mislead. If they were to speak to people in the office they would see the mistakes they have made. For myself 9 months ago I was one of the most trusted people in the office I stood up for what was right for the company and the only reason I was heard was because my last pod lead seen an opportunity to make more money. Nine months past I am told I don’t get the garrison way anymore because that same pod lead that only acted on greed was once again acting on greed to get rid of me. If I was given a chance to speak my peace before getting fired, I would have but I was unable to. I was simple told that someone has packed my stuff up and would meet me at the front door. It is a shame that a company would treat a veteran this way with zero respect.

So i drove 3 months with Re garrison first week running was okay, second week truck payments start coming out so if your a hard runner looking to make good money expecting $1700 to $2000 a week well you will be in the hole find yourself doing 2 reset and a week, your net any where from $187 to $800, if you see that you are sitting not having a good week running best to ask for a different DM if nothing changed still the same result leave asap don’t put yourself in a hole just to pay there trucks oh truck payments would be any where from $950 and up.

Made good money as a lease driver texas dedicated local, customer service and the Shipper was the only one I trusted and help while I was there. Had no problems, the only problem I had was you gotta watch your money every week and take your truck to a dealership not the yard who ever gets my truck Beaumont freightliner took care of my truck. I thank God for my time there even if it was half good and bad. Dont let them stress you out and change you mind on what you believe is right , because remember God is the answer in a bad times. Was a ok company to drive for you just gotta have a busseness mind set to last here. Just so you know if you turn a truck in, quit, or get your own truck and do not bring it back to yard they will charge you 2465.00 to recover truck; and also for a oil change even if you just did it before quit, termination. This not bashing them just letting you know what to expect.

I can only speak for the Athens office. You can only realistically expect 1000 to 1600 weekly. as a lease operator. The company charges you for everything from your travel to orientation, 1 night stay at hotel, mattress for truck, load locks, reefer fuel unless you’re dropping a trailer, trailer washouts, and scaling loads and etc. If you run short regional loads it’s a lot of hustling for such little pay. Driver managers will let you starve until you bring it to fleet manager’s attention. Unless you’ve been here for years or a favorite. Everyone seems nice, helpful, but when it comes to the driver wanting to maximize earnings they’re not the best. Really do your research before considering coming here. If anyone decides to come work here and drive out of Athens stay off Sean McDonald board.
