June 21, 2024, I was at the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Vestavia, AL. A customer has a dog in the shopping cart. Additionally, the dog appeared to be dirty. It was not a service dog; service dogs are not allowed in shopping carts. This is not sanitary. Of course, I left the store; I did not shop.

Well stocked, usually easy to find a sales associate to ask questions, sometimes a greeter or someone saying have a nice day with a smile, which is nice. Often met very nice cashiers. Kind of a local store kind of a community. :) Chicken I bought was fine, Walmart brand. Recycling of metal cans and plastic cans!!
Good place for inexpensive, eggs and brand-name items. Personally, I never buy produce at Walmart, it’s not fresh. The parking lot could be a little bit cleaner - there’s trash, but you see that at every Walmart.

They seem to have gotten a little better at having people running the registers but it is still a lot of self service and I don't like it .

No poor service so far. I switched over from the Lorna road store (which is the epitome of BAD). Even the pharmacy is better stocked with my meds.

Just started shopping here 2 years ago.... store laid out well ..clean and the employees are very polite. Easy in and out and BTW the best pharmacy ever!

This Walmart, is really nice inside. The staff are all, pleasant, items are easily to fund in the store. The lines, moves, pretty quickly as we'll.

Used to shop at this store all the time however, they have had a boll weevil infestation in all their dry goods!! It is horrible to want to make something to eat and to find out that all the Great Value products and dry good items in your cabinets are the one infected with bugs!! It is horrible. I still use the pharmacy however and the last time I was in there 2 weeks ago, they had apparently started addressing the infestation, because I needed some paper towels and canned dog food and the whole place reeked of pesticide!! Thank goodness someone is finally doing something about it.

The manager & the assistant manager and another associate that worked their was so friendly, caring. I wish I got their names lol but they helped me and my fiance out with some food and a gift card without asking. They truly were a blessing ?

Generally good product selection compared to surrounding locations. They seem better staffed with more cashiers and operational checkout lanes than other nearby locations.

All I can say is that it's a Walmart Store, and everyone has experienced Walmart.
